Information systems are currently increasing very rapidly, but it is unfortunate if the utilization is not yet optimal. Reviewing the data from literature studies and observations that have been made, many people need sewing services. The drastic increase in demand makes competition in the convection industry. Most of the work systems in the convection industry are done manually and are not economical. Product development also lacks creativity. Therefore, this researcher will use IT as marketing and design work, this can make processing time shorter and more optimal. Thus, customers will be facilitated in ordering ready-made clothes or clothes that match the customer's wishes by using a web application that only sends data on the size of the clothes or clothing model that the customer wants. This web-based application system can make it easier for customers to transact with the owner and transactions do not have to meet face to face. In addition, clothing sales and large-scale orders can be neatly organized and financial reports can be well structured and organized clearly. The results of this research will be in the form of research reports and web-based online sewing service information systems using the waterfall method.

Examinations are an indispensable part of a student’s life. In the conventional mechanism, the question paper generation is time-consuming work for the faculty members of the educational institution. Every educational institute mandatorily expects exam setters to follow its own typesetting format. We have designed the automated question paper setting software to be user-friendly so that, paper setters can overcome from the typographic problem. Presently in most of the educational institutions question papers are set manually. It is time-consuming work and there may be chances of repetition of the same questions. So, in order to make the question paper generation more convenient to use, the web application is developed using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) that can be accessed from LAN/Intranet.The application comes with the Admin Module and Teachers Module. The Admin grants access to the users by registering them. The faculty can access the system once they are registered. The faculty can enter questions in the database daily as per their free time. In this way, the question pool can be generated. The questions are approved by the chairperson and substandard questions are discarded. The question paper is then generated by selected course experts. The Fisher-Yates Shuffling algorithm used to choose questions randomly from the pool of questions from the database. Text Mining Algorithm aids in duplicity removal from the paper.  The generated question paper will be in Word Format. In our application, we assure better security, removal of duplicity, cost-effectiveness, and human intervention avoidance. It can be used by small-scale and large-scale institutions.

Web-based systems and applications now deliver a complex array of functionality to a large number of diverse groups of users. As our dependence and reliance on the Web has increased dramatically over the years, their performance, reliability and quality have become paramount importance. As a result, the development of Web applications has become more complex and challenging than most of us think. In many ways, it is also different and more complex than traditional software development. But, currently, the development and maintenance of most Web applications is chaotic and far from satisfactory. To successfully build and maintain large, complex Web-based systems and applications, Web developers need to adopt a disciplined development process and a sound methodology. The emerging discipline of Web engineering advocates a holistic, disciplined approach to successful Web development. In this chapter, we articulate and raise awareness of the issues and considerations in large, complex Web application development, and introduce Web engineering as a way of managing complexity and diversity of large-scale Web development.

Event history calendars (EHCs) are frequently used in social measurement to capture important information about the time ordering of events in people’s lives and enable inference about the relationships of the events with other outcomes of interest. To date, EHCs have primarily been designed for face-to-face or telephone survey interviewing, and few calendar tools have been developed for more private, self-administered modes of data collection. Web surveys offer benefits in terms of both self-administration, which can reduce social desirability bias, and timeliness. We developed and tested a web application enabling the calendar-based measurement of contraceptive method use histories. These measures provide valuable information for researchers studying family planning and fertility behaviors. This study describes the development of the web application and presents a comparison of data collected from online panels using the application with data from a benchmark face-to-face survey collecting similar measures (the National Survey of Family Growth).

Puskesmas must always improve their quality so that the services provided are faster and more effective. One of the efforts in improving the quality is the construction of information systems regarding types of services, programs, operating hours, and availability of inpatient rooms. Puskesmas Keranggan is one of the Puskesmas where the use of inpatient rooms is still done manually, without a system, so that medical personnel in different health services find it difficult to know the exact number of rooms that are still available. Therefore, Puskesmas Keranggan built a web-based information system that can be accessed quickly and easily using internet. The information system was built using the Laravel framework, Bootstrap, and MySQL. The web application is ready to use and has been built in accordance with the requirements.

Metahuman systems are new, emergent, sociotechnical systems where machines that learn join human learning and create original systemic capabilities. Metahuman systems will change many facets of the way we think about organizations and work. They will push information systems research in new directions that may involve a revision of the field’s research goals, methods and theorizing. Information systems researchers can look beyond the capabilities and constraints of human learning toward hybrid human/machine learning systems that exhibit major differences in scale, scope and speed. We review how these changes influence organization design and goals. We identify four organizational level generic functions critical to organize metahuman systems properly: delegating, monitoring, cultivating, and reflecting. We show how each function raises new research questions for the field. We conclude by noting that improved understanding of metahuman systems will primarily come from learning-by-doing as information systems scholars try out new forms of hybrid learning in multiple settings to generate novel, generalizable, impactful designs. Such trials will result in improved understanding of metahuman systems. This need for large-scale experimentation will push many scholars out from their comfort zone, because it calls for the revitalization of action research programs that informed the first wave of socio-technical research at the dawn of automating work systems.

Strengthening on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia needs to be supported by the use and good information systems management. Therefore, business actors are expected to be able to use a operational strategy supported by the use of information systems. Workshop is one of the complex MSMEs with integrated warehousing and financial reporting. The problem faced at this workshop UMKM is that there is no synchronization between the existing stock of goods and the sales stock, as well as reporting both warehouse reporting and financial reporting. For this reason, this study aims to build a web-based MSME information system for tire & rims workshops. In building this system, researchers used the agile software development method, namely SCRUM. This method is used because the system can adjust to the needs of the product owner, which is always changing and fast in processing. The results of this scrum stage, namely the product log, sprint backlog, sprint and working increment of the software, can resolve all problems that occur with regard to time, scope and cost issues so that in the implementation of making this system application can reduce the system requirements gap during the sprint process. So that the system can be completed in accordance with the requirements needed by the user. By using this workshop's UMKM information system, all sales operational activities can be monitored properly and sales and financial reports can be well structured.
