There are two crucial things essence in the learning proses. They are teachers and students. The teachers are the main actors in teaching, and students are main actors in learning. Basically learning is a process of change, from not knowing to know, less good to be good trough interaction between individuals and the environment. In school learning proses is a continous series of activities, planed, integrated which gives overall characteristics in the learning process.  Skill and ways of teaching teachers in managing the learning process is called learning strategies. A teacher must design learning with the right strategy so that the material presented to students can be delivered maximally and please them.  Whether or not the use of a particular strategy in learning depends on the goals, material, character of learners and teachers. So there is no specific strategy that is best and suitable for all learning situations and conditions. But it is the strategies that fit the learning needs. The characteristics of primary school children should be a special consideration in designing of learning strategies.

The success of the education process in a school is influenced by many factors. Factors that come for example from the teacher, students, curriculum, and other social environments. But the most important factor comes from two figures, namely teachers and students, especially in learning activities. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher finds the diversity of individual students whose results can be seen many differences from one student to another student. Seeing the characteristics of each of these students, it is not uncommon for teachers to be exposed to students who have hyperactive behavior. The condition of such children is usually very difficult for teachers to manage and educate them, aside from the fact that they are very difficult to calm down, also because hyperactive children often interfere with other students. Examples of hyperactive student behavior, like to interrupt teachers or friends, difficult to follow the learning, always feel bored, annoying friends and others. Therefore, the learning achievement of hyperactive children is also classified as less than the maximum. The definition of hyperactivity itself is a person's behavior that shows an attitude of not wanting to be quiet, not paying attention and impulsive. But hyperactive children still have the right to gain knowledge. The existence of educational services through formal institutions such as in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the efforts obtained include: teacher strategies and methods in the learning process, creativity development, talent development activities, the use of attractive media, rewards and punishment.

Reading comprehension is one of the language skills needed in processing the language, especially in comprehending information. Despite its importance, many of the students failed to perform comprehension skills well. Some of the reason was their lack of language proficiency and unsuitable approaches used by the teachers. Technology has been in favours among teachers and students in teaching practices, especially the use of multimedia because it has proven to help them in learning the language. Thus, this study aimed to find out indigenous students’ perception of multimedia learning as an approach to enhancing their reading comprehension skills. Besides that, the alluring features of multimedia learning have ignited the need to explore its potential in helping indigenous students learn comprehension skills better. This study relied heavily on the questionnaire to obtain comprehensive data from the students.  The surveys employed four sections that covered attention, motivation, relevance, and satisfaction. The findings showed the students agreed that multimedia learning is the right approach in enhancing their reading comprehension skills. Despite that, some of the students disagree with the use of audio elements in multimedia learning as it hinders the learning process.

This study aims to improve reading ability through the card sort method in the Al-Quran Hadith study for class II A MIN 4 Gunungkidul Students. This research was conducted from February to March 2018 with 19 research subjects. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using two cycles consisting of four stages, namely: action planning, action implementation, observation (observation), and reflection. Based on the results of the research conducted in two cycles, applying the card sort method has increased the activity of teachers and students. The implementation of the learning process increases seen from the results of students' learning abilities in the efforts of teachers in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in class II. A has achieved completeness. This can be seen from the increase in the average grade in the first cycle, 75.5 up to 82.3 or up 6.8 points in the second cycle and classical completeness in the first cycle, 68.4% up to 84.2% in the second cycle or up 15.8. This means that classical completeness has achieved success, which is above 80%. Based on the results obtained, it is expected that teachers are more creative in applying the learning strategies of the Card Sort method because not all subjects and subject matter can be delivered through this learning model. Also, the teacher can determine and choose the right strategy in carrying out learning.
