This paper analyzes the impact of flexibility of individual supporting elements of independent suspension on its elasto-kinematic characteristics. The toe and camber angle are the geometric parameters of the suspension, which waveforms and their changes under the action of vertical, longitudinal and transverse forces affect the stability of the vehicle. To study these dependencies, the computational multibody system (MBS) model of axle suspension in the system HyperWorks is created. There are implemented Finite-Element-Method (FEM) models reflecting the flexibility of the main supporting elements. These are subframe, the longitudinal arms, transverse arms and knuckle. Flexible models are developed using Component Mode Synthesis (CMS) by Craig-Bampton. The model further comprises force elements, such as helical springs, shock absorbers with a stop of the wheel and the anti-roll bar. Rubber-metal bushings are modeled flexibly, using nonlinear deformation characteristics. Simulation results are validated by experimental measurements of geometric parameters of real suspension.

In this paper, a novel control algorithm with the capacity of fault tolerance and anti-disturbance is discussed for the systems subjected to actuator faults and mismatched disturbances. The fault diagnosis observer (FDO) and the disturbance observer (DO) are successively designed to estimate the dynamics of unknown faults and disturbances. Furthermore, with the help of the observed information, a sliding surface and the corresponding sliding mode controller are proposed to compensate the actuator faults and eliminate the impact of mismatched disturbances simultaneously. Meanwhile, the convex optimization algorithm is discussed to guarantee the stability of the controlled system. The favorable anti-disturbance and fault-tolerant results can also be proved. Finally, the validity of the algorithm is certified by the simulation results for typical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) systems.

A modified lattice hydrodynamic model is proposed, in which the impact of strong wind and the optimal estimation of flux difference integral are simultaneously analyzed. Based on the control theory, the stability condition is acquired through linear analysis. The modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation is derived via nonlinear analysis, in order to express a description of the evolution of density waves. Then, numerical simulation is conducted. From the simulation results, strong wind can largely influence the traffic flow stability. The stronger the wind becomes, the more stable the traffic flow is, to some extent. Similarly, the optimal estimation of flux difference integral also contributes to stabilizing traffic flow. The simulation results show no difference compared with the theoretical findings. In conclusion, the new model is able to make the traffic flow more stable.

The paper proposes the design method of output filter and repetitive controller of inverter in stand-alone PV system. The design of filter considers the impact of filter on the inverter main circuit in order to increase the stability of the inverter. For the serious waveform distortion when the inverter runs independently with non-liner load, the circuit introduces repetitive control and presents a new parameter design method of repetitive controller. The simulation results prove that the design method is correct and feasible.

Purpose. To evaluate the impact of overburden protection structures, in the form of wooden fires, on the stability of lateral rocks in the coal massif and the operational condition of the preparatory workings on the excavation section of the coal mine, which develops layers of steep fall. Methods. An integrated approach was used as a research method, which included conducting a mine experiment, equivalent modeling and interpretation of the obtained results. Results. The stability of retractable drifts on excavation sections was evaluated by the amount of convergence of the side rocks on the production contour, taking into account the deformation characteristics of the protection structures. During the full-scale experiment, when the change in the distance between the benchmarks on the contour of the retractable lane in the area affected by the cleaning works was recorded, the largest displacements of the side rocks were recorded from the roof. At a distance of l≥60 m behind the treatment face, the relative deformation of the protection structures reached ε = 0.5-0.6. After that, the increase in roof displacements was limited, and the superstructure supporting structures operated in the mode of increasing resistance. During laboratory research, in the process of compressing models of wooden fires and rolling fires from sleepers, their deformation characteristics were established. At uniaxial compression of models there was a consolidation of experimental samples. With an increase in the compressive force and relative deformation of the experimental samples, a simultaneous change in the modulus of deformation and stiffness of the simulated security structures by quadratic dependence was recorded. Scientific novelty. It is experimentally proved that in the zone of influence of treatment works the convergence of lateral rocks on the contour of the retractable road of the steep coal seam under protection by wooden fires along the length of the excavation section is limited after compression of security structures by 50-60% due to their compaction. the layout of the elements and their number, determine its rigidity. Practical significance. To ensure the stability of retractable drifts on mines that develop steep fall layers, it is necessary to focus on the use of flexible protective structures located above the drift and performing the function of load-bearing supports, which by changing the deformation characteristics provide smooth deflection of lateral rocks in the coal massif. Keywords: steep fall of coal seams, haulage gate, side rocks, security structure, deformation characteristics, rigidity.

SummaryCase reports cited in Medline or Biological Abstracts (1966-1996) were reviewed to evaluate the impact of vitamin K1 dietary intake on the stability of anticoagulant control in patients using coumarin derivatives. Reported nutrient-drug interactions cannot always be explained by the vitamin K1 content of the food items. However, metabolic data indicate that a consistent dietary intake of vitamin K is important to attain a daily equilibrium in vitamin K status. We report a diet that provides a stable intake of vitamin K1, equivalent to the current U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance, using food composition data derived from high-performance liquid chromatography. Inconsistencies in the published literature indicate that prospective clinical studies should be undertaken to clarify the putative dietary vitamin K1-coumarin interaction. The dietary guidelines reported here may be used in such studies.

One of the main criteria for economic development is the size of the public debt and its dynamics. The article considers the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine. The views of scientists on the essence of public debt and financial security of the state are substantiated. An analysis of the dynamics and structure of public debt of Ukraine for 2014-2019. It is proved that one of the main criteria for economic development is the size of public debt and its dynamics. State budget deficit, attracting and using loans to cover it have led to the formation and significant growth of public debt in Ukraine. The volume of public debt indicates an increase in the debt security of the state, which is a component of financial security. Therefore, the issue of the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine is becoming increasingly relevant. The constant growth and large amounts of debt make it necessary to study it, which will have a positive impact on economic processes that will ensure the stability of the financial system and enhance its security.

In order to improve the measurement of precipitation microphysical characteristics sensor (PMCS), the sampling process of raindrops by PMCS based on a particle-by-particle Monte-Carlo model was simulated to discuss the effect of different bin sizes on DSD measurement, and the optimum sampling bin sizes for PMCS were proposed based on the simulation results. The simulation results of five sampling schemes of bin sizes in four rain-rate categories show that the raw capture DSD has a significant fluctuation variation influenced by the capture probability, whereas the appropriate sampling bin size and width can reduce the impact of variation of raindrop number on DSD shape. A field measurement of a PMCS, an OTT PARSIVEL disdrometer, and a tipping bucket rain Gauge shows that the rain-rate and rainfall accumulations have good consistencies between PMCS, OTT, and Gauge; the DSD obtained by PMCS and OTT has a good agreement; the probability of N0, μ, and Λ shows that there is a good agreement between the Gamma parameters of PMCS and OTT; the fitted μ-Λ and Z-R relationship measured by PMCS is close to that measured by OTT, which validates the performance of PMCS on rain-rate, rainfall accumulation, and DSD related parameters.

Appropriate pretreatment of proteins and addition of xanthan gum (XG) has the potential to improve the stability of oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. However, the factors that regulate the enhancement and the mechanism are still not clear, which restricts the realization of improving the emulsion stability by directional design of its structure. Therefore, the effects of whey protein micro-gel particles (WPMPs) and WPMPs-XG complexes on the stability of O/W emulsion were investigated in this article to provide theoretical support. WPMPs with different structures were prepared by pretreatment (controlled high-speed shear treatment of heat-set WPC gels) at pH 3.5–8.5. The impact of initial WPC structure and XG addition on Turbiscan Indexes, mean droplet size and the peroxide values of O/W emulsions was investigated. The results indicate that WPMPs and XG can respectively inhibit droplet coalescence and gravitational separation to improve the physical stability of WPC-stabilized O/W emulsions. The pretreatment significantly enhanced the oxidative stability of WPC-stabilized O/W emulsions. The addition of XG did not necessarily enhance the oxidative stability of O/W emulsions. Whether the oxidative stability of the O/W emulsion with XG is increased or decreased depends on the interface structure of the protein-XG complex. This study has significant implications for the development of novel structures containing lipid phases that are susceptible to oxidation.

Liposomes have been utilized as a drug delivery system to increase the bioavailability of drugs and to control the rate of drug release at the target site of action. However, the occurrence of self-aggregation, coalescence, flocculation and the precipitation of aqueous liposomes during formulation or storage can cause degradation of the vesicle structure, leading to the decomposition of liposomes. To increase the stability of liposomes, post-processing techniques have been applied as an additional process to liposomes after formulation to remove water and generate dry liposome particles with a higher stability and greater accessibility for drug administration in comparison with aqueous liposomes. This review covers the effect of these techniques including freeze drying, spray drying and spray freeze drying on the stability, physicochemical properties and drug encapsulation efficiency of dry liposomes. The parameters affecting the properties of liposomes during the drying process are also highlighted in this review. In addition, the impact of using a protective agent to overcome such limitations of each process is thoroughly discussed through various studies.
