The power transmission system in the cycloidal planetary gear is created by a serial connection of three rolling pairs: central cylindrical roller bearings, a set of rolling pins in the straight-line mechanism, and cycloidal meshing. The paper presents the numerical method for determining the distribution of forces acting on each rolling pair of this gear. Unlike analytical methods, numerical methods allow one to find that distribution in corrected meshing. Geometrical dimensions used in the equations of balance for the planetary gear transmission Palmgren`s dependences for the deformation line contact were used to calculate forces between co-operating elements. Once the distribution of load is known, one can predict the fatigue life of Cyclo’s gears in rolling pairs. The fatigue of rolling pairs is a very good criterion to optimize geometrical parameters of the power transmission system.

According to the FEA simulation results of tooth deformations in the mesh process, the profile modification of the involute spur cylindrical gear pairs used in timing transmission system of an automobile are designed based on the methods and theories proposed by domestic and oversea scholars and experts. The dynamic simulations of the gear pairs with straight line modification profile and involute modification profile under different values of modification amounts are done using dynamic analysis software ADAMS. Then it is testified by simulation results that (i)the mesh impact between the gear pairs with involute correction profile is obviously smaller than those between the gear pairs with straight line correction profile and without correction, (ii) optimized value of modification amounts of the gear pairs with involute correction profile is different that of the gear pairs with straight line correction profile under the same work condition.

Abstract The implementation of hybrid optical amplifiers has led to the emergence of DWDM in optical communication systems. By implementation of hybrid optical amplifiers, the performance of DWDM transmission can be enhanced. In this paper, different configurations of hybrid optical amplifiers are discussed which can be implemented at low cost and efficient performance of DWDM transmission system. Optical amplifiers can be used in different hybrid configurations to enhance the performance of the optical link and minimize the limitations of existing amplifiers.
