To address the problems of high damage rate, low seeding accuracy, and poor seeding generally in the seeding process, a general-purpose seeding device was designed in this study based on the principle of mechanical pneumatic combined seeding. The air-blowing-type cleaning and seed unloading of the device laid the conditions for precise seeding and flexible seeding. In addition, single-factor experiments were performed on seeds (e.g., soybeans, corn, and rape-seeds) with different particle sizes and shapes to verify the general properties of the seed metering device. A multi-factor response surface optimization experiment was performed by applying soybean seeds as the test object to achieve the optimal performance parameters of the seed metering device. At a seed-clearing air velocity of 16.7 m/s, a seed feeding drum speed of 13.7 r/min, and a hole cone angle of 35.6°, corresponding to the optimal performance index, the qualified index, the replay index, and the missed index reached 97.94%, 0.03%, and 2.03%, respectively. The verification test results are consistent with the optimized ones. As indicated from the results, the seed metering device exhibits good general properties, low damage rate, great precision, and high efficiency; it is capable of meeting general seeding operations of different crop seeds and technically supporting for the reliability and versatility of the seeder.

Coal washing wastewater is the end of the wet coal mine coal washing process industrial water , which contains a lot of slime and silt , causing serious pollution to the environment of the mine near this study, coagulation treatment of coal washing wastewater to determine the best flocculants and optimum operating parameters : agitation intensity 90r/min, polyaluminum chloride (30mg / l) dosage of 10ml the polyacrylamide dosage 3ml , pH = 7-11 . The treated effluent can be reused , either to protect the environment , but also save water resources .

A comprehensive experimental study on the effects of different operating parameters on the efficiency of tesla turbine is reported. A bladeless turbine with nine discs and up to four turbine inlets was used, with water as the working fluid. The parameters investigated are the nozzle angle, number of turbine inlets and mass flow rates. Contrary to earlier studies, an effort was made to determine the performance under varying loading conditions, and hence identify the complete performance characteristics. The study revealed that efficiency of the turbine increases at lower nozzle angles and higher number of turbine inlets. It was observed that the nozzle angle becomes a significant parameter when the number of turbine inlets is increased. Efficiencies up to 78% were achieved when the working fluid entered the turbine through two nozzles at an angle of 7°. It was also noted that the turbine is most efficient at the designed mass flow rate, and the efficiency reduces appreciably if lower mass flow rates are fed to the turbine. The results obtained are an important contribution to the available knowledge and can be used as design references for further studies.
