To evaluate the Effect of Snakehead Fish (Channa striata) Extract Capsule to the Albumin Serum Level of Post-operative Neurosurgery Patients. This research is a clinical research with Quasi-Experimental method . The experimental design used was one group pre-post test. The research design of one group pretest-posttest was measured using a pre-test which carried out before being given treatment and post-test carried out after being treated. The population of this study was all post-neurosurgical patients that treated at the West Nusa Tenggara General Hospital. Each patient who underwent surgery and included within research criteria was given Snakehead Fish (Channa striata) up to 3 weeks after surgery and the wound has healed. The sample consisted of 37 patients with criteria of over 18 years of age and no kidney disorders (proteinuria). The results of the data distribution of 37 patients stated that there were 12 males (32.4%) and 25 females (67.6%). The most number of diagnosis were abnormalities of meningioma and skull defect (17; 46% and 13; 35,1%). Mostly patients spent 8 – 14 days to control post-operatively (22; 59,4%). It was found that the pre-operative and post-operative albumin serum level had no significant difference (the significance value 0.115). The pre-operative and post-treatment albumin levels had a significant difference (a significance value of 0.003). However, albumin levels in post-operative and post-treatment had significant differences (significance value (0.001). This research is important for several reasons, including therapy in patients with pre-operative or recovery period after surgery. Snakehead fish can increase serum albumin levels in patients after surgery. The experimental design used was one group pre-post test. The research design of one group pretest-posttest was measured using a pre-test which was carried out before being given treatment and post-tests carried out after being treated. The treatment plan could be concisely reported.

The research is led by the problems on student’s skill in writing poetry in eight grade SMPN 3 Cipanas cianjur. Imaginative suggestion method with audio visual media does not only create comfortable atmosphere but also give suggestion that develop students amaginative skill. The research design used in this study is One Group Pre-test Post-test. The design is aimed to find out the result of the subject and to show how well the final results of each subject. Based on the results, it is shown that there is a significant difference of students’ ability of writing poetry before and after using Imaginative Suggestion method With Visual-Audio Media, it is proven by calculation with t-test obtained t arithmetic is 2.68 and t table price t 0,05 ie 2.04. it shows that t count (2.68)> t table (2.04). Then it can be concluded that the results of implementing Imaginative Suggestion method With Visual-Audio Media on Poetry Writing is effective.Keywords: imaginative suggestion method, audio-visual media, poetry writing

The research explored the effect of psychoeducation towards knowledge of inclusivity for children at Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z (Z orphanage). Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z (Z orphanage) has been chosen because there is a phenomenon where the typical children shows stigmatization towards the atypical children. There are various form of stigmatization, including physical, attitude, communication, social interaction, et cetera. This research involved 33 children at the Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z having an age range from 11-21 years old. The design used in this research is within-group experimental design. The result of this study indicates that there is an increase after being given psychoeducation. Researchers used the Mann-Whitney non parametric statistical test. The result has shown there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results (p < 0.05, N=28).Penelitian ini melihat pengaruh psikoedukasi terhadap pengetahuan inklusivitas pada anak-anak di Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z. Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z dipilih karena adanya fenomena stigmatisasi yang tidak disadari antara anak-anak tipikal terhadap anak-anak atipikal yang tinggal di panti tersebut. Bentuk stigmatisasi yang terjadi beragam, seperti fisik, sikap, cara berkomunikasi, cara berteman, dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini melibatkan 33 anak-anak di Yayasan Panti Asuhan Z yang berusia mulai dari 11 hingga 21 tahun. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah within-group experimental design. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan inklusivitas yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya hasil pre-test setelah diberikan psikoedukasi. Peneliti menggunakan uji statistik non-parametrik Mann Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil uji beda tersebut, diketahui bahwa hasil pre-test dan post-test memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0.05, N=28).

Background and objective: Changing the patient lifestyle as regarding diet well helped in vitiligo patient cure. Aim: to examine the effect of applying dietary instructions on dietary lifestyle modifications of vitiligo patients.Methods: Research design: Quasi experimental research design with one group (Pre/Post-test) was utilized in this study. Setting: the study was conducted in the ultraviolet unit at the Dermatology Department of Asyut University Hospitals. Study tool: Structured patient interview questionnaire sheet. It included two parts: Part 1: Assessment of patient’s sociodemographic variables. Part 2: Dietary pattern assessment: derived from Patient Life Style Pattern Assessment Sheet (PLSPAS) for Vitiligo.Results: The mean age of the studied sample was (mean ± SD 34.62 ± 12.35), 51.6% were female, 70% were living in rural areas, a highly statistically significant difference in the total mean knowledge scores between pre and post application of the dietary instructions (p value = .002).Conclusions: The present study concluded that there was a great improvement in the dietary lifestyle pattern of the studied sample after application of dietary instructions. Recommendations: Replication of the study on a larger probability sample from different geographical locations for generalization of the results. Printing copies of the dietary instructions for dissemination among all vitiligo patients attending the dermatology ward for treatment or follow-ups.

This article was to find out about the effectiveness of applying dictogloss technique on students’ narrative text. A Quasi-Experimental design was used in this method, with using pre-test and post test design. Subject of this research was at the eleventh grade  at state senior high 10 Bandar Lampung.  The result of this study showed that the value of to  (tobservation ) was 5.2. The value of t table with degree of freedom 38 in significance degree 5 % was 2.02 and in significance degree 1% was 2.71. It indicated that to was higher than or 2.02 < 5.26 > 2.71. for those analysis, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and t alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Hence, it was inferred that there were significant difference between students’ narrative writing score who were taught by dictoglos technique. sebelum dan sesudah dibelajarkan menggunakan metode bermain peran pada anak kelompok A Tkk Thomas Aquino Tuka Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak A3 Di Tkk Thomas Aquino Tuka Dalung, Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 anak yang terdiri dari 18 anak perempuan dan 9 anak laki-laki. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan tehnik sampling Jenuh serta data kemampuan berbicara anak diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode non tes, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji–t dependent t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t di peroleh thitung = 14,13 > ttabel= 2,056 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 26, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok A melalui kegiatan bermain peran di Tkk Thomas Aquino Tuka dalung Tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Adapun data kemampuan Berbicara anak menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 50,13, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 79,76. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Metode bermain peran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak kelompok A Tkk Thomas Aquino Tuka Dalung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disarankan kepada guru untuk lebih mengembangkan inovasi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual melalui kegiatan bermain peran.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berbicara, Metode bermain peran, Pre-Experimental Design This study aims to acquaint the influence of speaking ability towards child pre-test and post-test of applying the Role-play method to the group A3 of Thomas Aquino Kindergarten, Tuka, batch 2018/2019. This study is a study Pre-Experimental Design with the research method of One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The population of this study were all of the students in group A3 of Thomas Aquino Kindergarten, Tuka. The sample of this study were 27 students who consist of 18 females and 9 males students. The sample was conducted by the Saturation Sampling method and the data of the speaking ability of a child was obtained by the non-test method, then analysed by the Paired-t dependent t-test. Based on the result of analysis which organised by the Paired-t method, has obtained t-count = 14,13 is greater than (t-table) = 2,056 with significant level 5% and (dk=26), the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means that there is a significant difference of speaking ability towards students in group A3 of Thomas Aquino Kindergarten, Tuka, batch 2018/2019 by Role-play method. However, the data of speaking ability towards child shows the average of the pre-test is 50,13, meanwhile the average post-test is 79,76. It can be concluded that the Role-play method affects on speaking ability towards students group A3 of Thomas Aquino Kindergarten, Tuka, batch 2018/2019. Regarding that study, it can be suggested to the teachers to develop more innovations in applying for the contextual learning program by the Role-play method.keyword : Speaking Ability, Role-play Method, Pre-experimental design, One Group Pretest-Posttest Design

The objectives of this research are to find out whether there is any effect and significant difference achievement of students in writing recount text between before and after being taught by using an animation video and how the students’ respon toward the use of an animation video in teaching writing recount text. The research was conducted at SMK Antartika 1 Sidoarjo. Sample of this study is students in first grade TPM 6 class. The method that is used in this research is quantitative method with pre-experimental design. To get the data, the researcher gave pre-test and post-test to the students. The researcher used an animation video in teaching writing recount text. An essay is given by the researcher to the students to know the effect of the students after used an animation video. Based on the result of the research, there are some research findings that can be represented. First, there is significant difference achievement of students in writing recount text. Second, the students’ understanding give a positive respon toward the use of an animation video. In conclusion, the use of holiday animation video gives a significant difference on the students’ achievement in writing recount text and the students’ respon of the use of an animation video in teaching writing recount text are positive.

This study is based on the research which attempted to examine the effectiveness of realia in writing descriptive text by the seventh grade students. The objectives of the research were (1) to analyze and find out  the students’ ability in writing descriptive text who are taught by using realia, (2) to analyze and find out  the students’ ability in writing descriptive text who are taught without using realia, (3) also to analyze and find out whether there is significant difference between students who are taught by using realia and those taught without using realia. Quasi experimental design was used with the population of 256 seventh grade students of SMP N 4 Semarang in the academic year 2017/2018. By using purposive sampling technique, there were two classes chosen as the sample of this study; vii a and vii b. The instruments of collecting data used were tests; pre-test and post-test. After the data were collected, they were analysed using t-test. The findings were as follows: (1) the ability in writing descriptive text by the students taught using realia was good with the mean of the post-test was 80.21. (2) the ability in writing descriptive text by the students taught without using realia was adequate with the mean of the post-test was 74.44. (3) there was significant difference of the two group students. t-test 4.89 > t-table 2.00. therefore, ha was accepted that realia was effective as a media in teaching writing of descriptive text.

Football is a sport that is played outside the room of 11 players with the aim of getting the ball into the opponent's goal. The results of observations in the field that there are still many players in passing while competing so that it is not in accordance with the target. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of wallpass training and exercise with groups of 4 to increase the passing results of Bali United Mataram. The purpose of this research is to find out. The research design was a twogroup pretest-postest design. Population and sample are all players totaling 22 people. Instrument Passing for 30 seconds. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. The results of the t-test for group 1 obtained significant values (2-tailed) <0.05: 0.003 <0.05 and group 2 significant values (2-tailed) <0.05: 0.038 <0,05. So these results indicate a significant difference. Based on the test for the difference in the mean post-test data for groups 1 and 2, it was obtained a significant value (2-tailed) <0.05: 0.026 <0.05 with an increase in the percentage value in group 1 of 12.93% and group 2 of 3, 96%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the effect of wallpass training and exercise with groups of 4 is an increase in the passing results of Bali United Mataram in 2021.Keywords: Passing, Wallpass, with groups of 4

This study was generally attempted to find the effect of ice breaking to increase students' motivation in English learning at the first grade of SMP Nurul Jadid.  This research used pre-experimental design by using one shot case study pre-test and post-test. Before the treatment, the researcher gave the pre-test in one class. Moreover, the researcher taught English by using ice breaking in the experimental class. The last, the researcher conducted the post-test to know whether an ice breaking was effective for teaching English in experimental class. Based on the data analysis, the data t-test (2.77) was higher than t-table value (2.042). The result analyzing showed that there was significant difference on the students’ motivation taught by using ice breaker. The students’ mean score of the pre-test of the experiment class was 60. Then, in the post-test, the mean score of experiment class was 66.1. Therefore, hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It concluded that ice breaking was effective in teaching English learning toward the students’ motivation for the first grade of SMP Nurul Jadid. Thus, this research make students be enjoy, be active, energize, feeling happiness, interactive in the classroom, stay in the class during learning process, and focus on the material.

The objective of this research is to find out whether there is any significant difference of students in Listening skill between before and after being taught by using the Video. The research is conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol Pasuruan. Sample of this study is students in 7th grade class A. The method that is used in this research is quantitative method with pre-experimental design Pretest and postest. To get the data, the researcher gave pre-test, treatment and post-test to the students. The researcher using Video in Teaching Listening. Based on the result of this research, the shows that ,there is significant difference of students test in Teaching Listening class before and after students are given video in litening class. The data obtained are then analyzed using the t-test and obtained with a significant level of 5%, it is known that tcount = 16.56 is greater than t table = 2.06. Thus, it shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted and by using the Eta Squared formula. The results of the calculation obtained a value of 0.91.
