Social work as a sphere of professional activity had formed in Europe by the middle of the XX century, but the experience accumulated in different countries did not result in uniform standard for the social welfare work and professional training. In Russia, social and welfare training is a relatively new training programme (since 1991), which needs to be substantially detailed by theoretical experience and practical recommendations from colleagues from around the world. In these conditions, academic mobility provides an opportunity to enrich the modern system of qualified social and welfare personnel training and expand our understanding of the structure of foreign professional education, as well as technologies, approaches and forms of student training. The authors show that various aspects of student social and welfare professional training are in the focus of domestic and foreign academic interest; two main sources of this problem are identified. The article dwells on the practical experience the students and teachers of Nizhnevartovsk State University and Aabenraa University College South Denmark accumulated through academic exchange. Regulations and statistical data analysis, observations, interviews, discussions and seminars helped to provide the necessary insight into the system of social and welfare training in Denmark. Research material may be of interest to students of Social Work programmes when studying such subjects as ‘Foreign Experience of Social Work’, ‘Social Education Fundamentals’; to teachers when developing bachelor training curriculum; to specialists of institutions when organizing student practical training.

Considering the devalued role of social science disciplines in the current economic context and low wages of related-field professions in the workplace, it is argued that they still remain the most preferred options among students at the time of starting their higher education studies. Hence it is critical to identify the elements in the life trajectories of students that influence their professional training choice of the social sciences disciplines and professions. The article is devoted to the analysis of the state of modern professional training of teachers-choreographers in China. The article presents the authors’ vision of modeling the content of modern professional training of choreographers. The analysis of the existing literature on the topic of the research made it possible to determine the tendencies and patterns of modern professional training of teachers- choreographers. Considering in the study the problems of training teachers of the artistic and creative direction, namely, teachers-choreographers, to solve professional problems, we proceed from the fact that their professional training should be aimed at mastering the teacher’s professional competencies, as well as deep knowledge and skills in the field of choreographic art The rationale for this is the demand for teachers- choreographers in the modern labor market in the field of education - in its various segments (preschool, school, professional, general and additional, as well as in the field of educational leisure). The analysis presented in the study confirms that the content of professional training of teachers - choreographers remains largely at the same level and does not meet modern requirements. The study is devoted to the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process, the content of professional training. Professional training is carried out in the direction of “Pedagogical education” with an appropriate profile, however, in this case, the actual choreographic training of students is significantly limited. We consider it important to note that the art of dancing, which is the subject of professional training for teachers-choreographers, should be considered as an artifact of modern culture, bearing all its inherent features, is the main tool for their professional training. The vector of building an educational cluster is its social demand, which sets the attractors of the development of the content of modern professional training of choreographers and pedagogues. Modern professional training of teachers-choreographers is, first of all, a system of preserving cultural traditions of which students-choreographers master the basis in the learning process, bringing their own understanding and understanding creating their own, new, modern choreographic culture.

In the early 1990s, some academic institutions in Vietnam introduced the subject of social work into their curricula and began training students in related programs. The training was, however, not internally coherent, and social work education in Vietnam only really emerged in Vietnam in 2004, when the Ministry of Education and Training approved the national curriculum in the field. In 2010, the government of Vietnam recognized the urgent need for social work professionals to solve various social problems and build public welfare, democracy, and the socialist state. Since then, Vietnam’s social work education has developed rapidly. Currently there are around 55 universities and colleges at the national and provincial levels with active social work programs. But social work education in Vietnam faces many challenges. This paper gives  voice to social work students on some of those challenges, including different layers of educators, licensing, materials, and practicum. The paper is based on a survey of, and interviews with, students from 17 universities in Vietnam, and includes concrete recommendations for improving the professional training of social work students.
