Given objectives for all sections of the course "strength of materials", studied by students in accordance with the existing program for Russian universities. Along with the classical methods of assessing strength are the basic concepts of fracture mechanics and methods of calculations on strength, stiffness and stability of structures. Detailed solution of the task allows the subject to students of day and correspondence forms of training. The unconventional construction of the book are aimed at improving the learning material. Almost all tasks are accompanied by answers. In the Appendix to the book gives some reference materials: table of Standards, values, functions, A. N. Krylov and hyperbolic functions, as well as data relevant to the calculation of strength under cyclic stresses. Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education have designated a reorientation from the subject-knowledge education model to the competency-based one, when the goal is to develop students' personal and professional features with an emphasis on their autonomous learning. Universality and generality of requirements for the results of studying the bachelor’s programme in Pedagogical Education does not exclude, but assumes the subject’s orientation of the competencies formulated when implementing specific areas of training. This requires rethinking the functionality of all components of the training system, including the contents. It is the very aspect that remains insufficiently revealed for competency-based teaching of mathematics. The vector of a significant part of studies is directed towards the search for effective educational technologies. Meanwhile, continuity in nurturing competencies requires considering professional orientation on teaching-learning the subject. Reviewing mathematical contents is also vital as the proportion of students’ autonomous learning is getting increased. The article substantiates the role and significance of mathematical contents in arranging control of students' autonomous learning. Keeping in mind the priority of control’s teaching function, it is proposed to make up tasks that contribute to assessing not only knowledge, but also experiential and motivational components of competences.

Monitoring the levels of scientific potential of teachers is due to the need to improve the methodology for determining compliance with the position and the requirements of the first and highest qualification categories in accordance with the new procedure for certification of teachers. On this basis, there are opportunities to develop mechanisms for increasing scientific potential in order to introduce it functionally into the structure of professional pedagogical activity of teachers in accordance with the job description and the requirements of Federal state educational standards to improve the effectiveness of educational activities. When assessing the levels of scientific potential of teachers, along with other parameters, it is advisable to take into account the influence of age, educational level and retraining of specialists. It is necessary to take into account the level of teaching experience and work experience in the subject taught.

In the article the urgency of introduction of the Federal state educational standard (GEF) basic General education, are the main characteristics of this new generation standard: the emphasis in education; inter-personal, meta (cognitive, communicative, regulatory universal learning activities) and substantive results. Анализируются вопросы о сущности профессиональной деятельности применительно к самим адвокатам, их личностным качествам. The article provides a theoretical analysis of the current state of the specifics of professional activity of lawyers. Questions about the essence of professional activity in relation to the lawyers themselves and their personal qualities are analyzed. The article describes the peculiarities of lawyers ' work, taking into account the subject-subject interaction. Theoretical and applied research directions of professional activity of lawyers are outlined: implementation of professional selection procedures, taking into account the requirements of Federal state educational standards of higher education and standards of professional training and professional development of lawyers; taking into account modern social and educational conditions and labor market requirements-a refined professionographic description of the profession «lawyer», professionograms and psychograms; the possibility of building a psychodiagnostic technology for predicting the success of a lawyer's professional activity and a model of a multi-level system of psychological and pedagogical support and support for a lawyer's professional activity.

Taking into account the special educational needs of children with a diagnosis of «early infantile autism» learning the subject «English» has its own characteristics. Before creating a special educational program of English language tuition, such concepts as «signs of autism», «major issues» have been extensively studied. On the basis of the studied material, the goals and objectives of the training program were determined, the stages and techniques for working with children in this category were clarified. The article describes the difficulties in the formation of a number of universal educational actions in younger schoolchildren, such as semantic reading, analysis of visual (pictorial) information when mastering the historical material of the course "The World Around". The informational function of a textbook on the subject "The World Around" is considered as the main means of teaching, contributing to the formation of systematized historical ideas among junior schoolchildren. The possibilities of improving the cognitive activity of students in the process of working with textual and visual information of historical content presented in the textbook are revealed, which has a direct impact on the successful acquisition of metasubject skills by primary schoolchildren, stated in the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education for learning outcomes.
