As new energy resources like solar, wind and hydropower are being used more and more over the world, the demand for transport of energy and with that the demand for powerlines is big. Also, in The Netherlands this is the case. TenneT (company responsible for the transport of energy in The Netherlands) had to realise a total of 75 km’s of power lines in one project called Wintrack II. This includes 41 different kind of pole types that carry the conductors. The conductors are carried by so called bipoles, these are conical steel tubes.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

To help TenneT a semi-automatic tooling was made to calculate and to model the different pole types. The poles are modelled with inventor and calculated with different software programs.

To validate the different calculations and used model’s 3D FEM-calculations are performed as well as full scale tests. Several kinds of calculations and designs are made, especially in steel and concrete. For example, calculations are made on vortex, prestressing of anchors, flange connections and next to that measurements are being performed on full scale poles.

In the article analysis technique of electromagnetic safety conditions on routes of compact power lines (CPL) is offered. As the tool the program complex Fazonord was applied to modeling of CPL modes and electromagnetic fields. Results of modeling show that the average levels of CPL electric field strengths exceed a similar indicator for the standard power line by 25…145 %, distinctions of maximums lie within 7… 150 %. Especially considerable strength excesses take place at three-segment CPL. By criterion of magnetic field strength the return picture is observed: levels of CPL magnetic field strength on 70 … 90 % below than in traditional power line, and the best picture of electromagnetic safety possesses the foursegment power line.

High-voltage air power lines (AL) are sources of danger to aircraft objects and of pollution of the surrounding environment by their fields. In this connection, there is a problem of creating of analytical mathematical models for the calculation of the magnetic and electric fields of air power lines (AL) in the surrounding them space. The analytical mathematical models for magnetic and electric fields of air power lines (AL) in surrounding space for making subsequent decisions in the field of detection of high-voltage air lines by aircraft and electromagnetic pollution of environment were obtained.

It has been shown as a combination of theoretical positions for technogenic safety’s systemology and modern information technologies’ capabilities can help prevent dangerous technogenic impacts. Have been revealed systemological method’s main terms and concepts needed to investigate the problem of technogenic safety. Have been presented descriptions of an overhead power line as a collection of complex technogenic system and technogenic impacts created by this system’s components. Has been given the general characteristics of the «Diagnostics +» software complex for the electrical equipment’s status assessment based on processing of current information’s large volumes. Have been provided examples for representation of overhead power lines in the program complex, and types of their tests in accordance with the directive documents. It has been stated that equipment status prediction aids prevent an occurrence of dangerous technogenic impacts that may accompany the operation of overhead power lines.

During manufacturing nuts of increased height, a problem of obtaining correct cylindrical form of the hole for thread and overall geometrical parameters arises. To solve the problem it is necessary to know regularity of the blank forming process. Results of the study of a technological process of high hexahedral nuts forming presented. The nuts were M18 of 22 mm height, M16 of 19 mm height and M12 of normal height 10 mm according to GOST 5915–70, accuracy class B, steel grade 10 according to GOST 10702–78. The volumetric stamping was accomplished at the five-position automatic presses of АА1822 type. It was determined, that unevenness of the metal flow in the process of plastic deformation of blanks of increased height nuts was caused by different stress conditions by their sections. To simulate the mode of deformation, the program complex QForm-3D was chosen. The complex ensured to forecast with necessary accuracy the metal flow in a blank, as well as to define the deformation force and arising stress in the working instrument. The simulation showed the presence of regularity between preliminary formed buffle and deviation of dimensions and form of a blank wall after its finishing piercing, which can be expressed by a nonlinear dependence. The limit values of the relative height of the buffle С/D = 0.56–0.588 defined, exceeding which will result in rejection of the finished product. Accounting the limit values of the relative height of the buffle will enable to correct a mode of technological operations and technological instruments at stamping of high hexahedral nuts.
