The article touches interrelated complex of problems characterizing visual communication in the digital space of modern society. The idea of forming of visual culture with a special mental constitution is being actualized. It is revealed that visual communication is a key phenomenon of the social and cultural reality of the Internet. The collision of verbal and visual that is exposed to changes in perception between the subject and the other is considered taking into account its specific qualities. If you look at the representational turn as a phenomenon of cultural consciousness opening in the space of the Internet, its quixotic duality could be noticed. The author believes that the conceptual discourse of visualization reveals new meanings and ideas, both in the thinking of some individual (as a part) and in the space of a multicode universe as a whole. Researchers and/or designers in visual anthropology and visual communication share the visual aspect or visual study as a common interest. However, their views are different. Visual anthropologists consider the social impact and/or meaning of the visual communication within a culture. They are also interested in ways to present anthropological data by means of visual techniques. Visual communication design researchers create visual communication, and are interested in how participants respond to visual matter in order to enhance the human experience. In a way, they are (partly) producing the visual culture visual anthropologists are reflecting upon. In order to find out how and whether such disciplinary exploration might be fruitful, we were assigned three articles from Visual Anthropology Review within the category “Deaf Visual Culture.” As typographic legibility researchers within READSEARCH this felt familiar, since we have conducted several design studies (published and in preparation)—more specifically, practical legibility research—for the deaf and hard of hearing community. As design researchers in legibility studies, we do see possibilities to build bridges among the disciplines of visual anthropology and visual communication. A remarkable resemblance between the different fields of study within a deaf culture, in our eyes, is the approach of trying to capture legibility/illegibility within language (spoken, signed, and/or written) by means of visual properties. Therefore, we would like to highlight differences and similarities between anthropology versus visual communication, drawing conclusions about why both disciplines should keep a close eye on each other. Implementing insights into their research practices and/or visual communication design artifacts may open horizons within innovative or even collaborative research projects. Both fields, visual anthropology and visual communication, are trying to contribute to a specific common concern in deaf education—namely, the educational context of language practice.

Musicologie.Abstract: In the cultural context of Medieval West, it would have no more sense than interest to set manuscript and epigraphic written practices. Content, material support, techniques of realization and processes of reading change from one media to another, but it is still the same graphic praxis and the same visual culture. Material or textual variations are adaptations to objectives and circumstances of written communication. At the same time text and material, idea and object, the inscription is defined by a physical extent which gives it objecthood and materiality, whatever its content and function. Epigraphic communication exposes to passers-by a portion of inscribed space, a quantity of visual information received by the potential spectator/reader of the inscription. As the manuscript, it first takes place in the field of visual and sensitive. It gives something to see and not to read, and that is why technical conditions of the realization of an inscription try to represent in material the imageof a text. Keywords: Medieval Epigraphy. The role of the existence of graphic design as one of the most important ways of conveyance of visual communication in modern society is determined. Visual communications are considered as a process of the need to study the totality of problems, especially those connected with the interaction of the “person – environment” system, meant for conveying visual information. The paper supports the statement that visual communications should be considered as a visual language, by using, it is possible to significantly diversify communicated information in society. The article identifies three types of communication: visual, audiovisual (the image is accompanied by sound content) and animated (a static image becomes dynamic, accompanied by sound). It is concluded that the development of visual communications will help improve the quality of perception of information, which is often associated with a flawlessly elaborated graphic design. The brand creation methods as one of the most important factors in the development of visual communications today in modern society are considered and described in detail.

The relevance of studying the impact of a pandemic on society is determined not only by medical problems, but also by social. The main purpose of the paper is to study the consequences of the pandemic in modern society with its information, cognitive-innovative, and hyperreal security. The article examines the phenomenon of the pandemic, its impact as a global threat and danger in micro-, meso-, and macrosocial structures and organizations, in state and international institutions. The pandemic becomes both a process of social freezing in the broadest sense (in the sense of any connection between people), and in the social, political, economic, and cultural context. The purpose of the study is to identify the most important factors affecting the psychological and somatic health of a person in the conditions of COVID-19. The paper presents a review of Russian and foreign studies of the psychological impact of the epidemic. The problem of the social impact of the pandemic as a global and massive threat to human relations in the information and digital world is a new phenomenon in the sociocultural space, as fear multiplies and repeats, and panic is intensified by simulations and fantasies, sometimes even more than real processes.

Freedom, autonomy and responsibility are the ends of every educational process, especially in the modern society: globalized, rapid, in transformation; society in which each one of us is called to make numerous choices. Therefore, it is urgent to educate to choose and educate to the choice, so that young people can emancipate themselves from possible conditionings. To this end, the Montessori method represents a privileged way: child is free to choose his own activity and learns "to do by himself" soon; the teacher prepares the environment and the materials that allow the student to satisfy the educational needs of each period of inner development. Then, Montessori gives importance to adolescence because it is during this period that grows the social man. Consequently, it is important to reform the secondary school in order to acquire the autonomy that each student will apply to the subsequent school grades and to all areas of life
