The article presents the analysis of the results of field experimental study of the effect of the contact surface forms of the foundation on the deformability of subgrade. Experimental data show peculiarities of intensely deformed state of subgrade loaded on a curved concave contact surface. Stiffening of the base in this case is due to higher modulus of deformation of soil deformation in the core base, due to the additional lateral compression of soil, relating to a form of the contact surface.

Under the complex loads, the injector guide pillar (IGP) used in injection machine was failure only after 1.5-year-service. In order to determine the cause of the fracture, the numerical simulation technology was applied to analyze the mechanical properties of the IGP. The contact between the mating surfaces of the clamping mechanism was modeled; nonlinear multi-region contact of surface-surface was applied to establish the contact model of FEA. The constraint of tie was used for modeling thread joint. The simulated results indicated that the smaller area of contact surface, the higher value of stress in the neck of IGP. Electronic measurement was also used to check the results of stress in IGP obtained by FEA. It was found that the experimental data agreed well with simulated results. Based on the numerical analysis and experimental study, the structure of IGP was improved by adopting a smoother double-round neck. The fatigue life of the improved structure was longer than that of the original machine.

Considering the actual factors such as axial compression ratio, constraint conditions and so on, We design 10 beam-column joints of different parameters under the condition of the same reinforcement ratio and use the monotonic loading type to study the influences of dosage of recycled aggregates and waste fibers, waste fiber length on beam-column joints on the ultimate bearing capacity of the core area. Experimental research shows that when the dosage of recycled aggregates is 50% , waste fiber content is 0.12%, waste fiber length is 19 mm, the node ultimate bearing core area best performance.

An experimental study on the C60 concrete was carried out under five different curing conditions based on the maturity theory. The influence patterns of the curing conditions on the increase of the C60 concrete strength were discussed. The experimental data were fitted using different strength-maturity models, the accuracies of which were then analyzed. The results show that the mapping relation between the compressive strength and maturity of the C60 concrete could be well characterized by the logarithmic functional relation.

During the experimental study, a pronounced beating and sealing of the side surface of the tubular, cylindrical blanks was recorded. It is established that cracks appear and develop in the central part of the lateral surface, i.e., it are destroyed. This fact confirms the claim that the destruction of tubular, cylindrical blanks of some materials begins on the side surface. It is established that the bases of analytical dependencies between the components of deformations describe the obtained results of the experimental study of SR tubular, cylindrical blanks within the error of the experimental data, which made it possible to construct a number of mathematical models for the purpose of further study of the SDS and the method of their determination.

The semiempirical SCF–LCAO–MO method of Pariser–Parr–Pople is utilized in the study of the π-electronic structures of thiophene, furan, and pyrrole. The core Hamiltonian expansion contains a Uz++ term, the potential due to the ionized hetero-atom contributing two electrons to the π-system. The γzz, one-center coulomb repulsion integral for the hetero-atom is evaluated from the experimental spectroscopic data only. With the resonance integral βczc as the only variable parameter, the calculated π*–π electronic transitions are in a satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.

Concentration gradients resulting from long range diffusion during Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) have been investigated with the 3D Atom Probe technique (3D-AP). First, in a pearlitic steel where alloying elements (Mn, Si and Cr) are partitioned between the ferrite and carbides in the non-deformed state. After processing by High Pressure Torsion (HPT), they are homogeneously distributed in the nanostructure, indicating that long range diffusion occurred along with the dissolution of carbides. 3D-AP data of a Cu-Fe composite processed by HPT show as well a significant interdiffusion of Cu and Fe, probably promoted by additional vacancies. On the basis of these experimental data, and using the theory described for irradiated materials, vacancy fluxes and vacancy production rates were estimated assuming that new vacancies are continuously produced and eliminated on grain boundaries.

The geometry of overlapping tubular joints, the equations of intersection curves and the coordinate of the intersection point are introduced first. The variational method for simple tubular joints is extended to the stress analysis of tubular K-joints with overlap. The computer program is compiled. The stress concentration factor and the position of the hot spot of an overlapping joint are found. For the sake of proving the feasibility of our analysis and program, the computed results are compared with experimental data of our photoelastic experiment and other experiments.

Purpose. Еxperimental substantiation of the effectiveness of biocompatible biodegradable hydrogels based on hyaluronic acid and chitosan succinate as a carrier of ranibizumab in antiglaucoma operations. Material and methods. Hydrogel drainage (HD) was obtained immediately before surgery. A solution of ranibizumab (0.23 ml) was mixed with a solution of hyaluronic acid dialdehyde (0.5 ml), then a solution of chitosan succinate (0.5 ml) was added. Experimental studies were performed in 12 (12 eyes) healthy rabbits. The first group consisted of 6 eyes – 0.187 ml of ranibizumab per 1 ml of gel. In the control group, HD was used intraoperatively without the addition of ranibizumab (6 eyes). Morphological studies were performed on 7th, 21st, and 42nd days. Results. In experimental studies in vitro and in vivo, it was proved that ranibizumab, administered as a part of 0.1 ml of hydrogel drainage in the antiglaucoma surgery area is released within 3 weeks and suppresses vascularization, scarring of the operating area, and preserves the intrascleral cavity. The optimal concentration of ranibizumab was selected-0.02 ml in 0.1 ml of gel. Conclusion. The safety and effectiveness of the use of hydrogel drainage with ranibizumab based on hyaluronic acid dialdehyde and chitosan succinate in anti-glaucoma operations has been proven. Key words: experimental research, hydrogel drainage, ranibizumab, glaucoma surgery.
