The application of multimedia and interactive techniques at the creation and estimate of scientific-popular content is considered. The most suitable formats of the multimedia content for the popularization of scientific knowledge and also the peculiarities of a user and a content interaction are presented. The essential constituents of the interactive multimedia-content of science are formulated.

The ECHO360 Active Learning Platform (ALP) is an online active learning platform allowing the creation of interactive multimedia content for anytime student learning, with the potential for comprehensive analytics. This ALP has previously been shown to enhance student participation and engagement during in-class activities however it can be challenging to use at first. To enhance the uptake of ECHO360 ALP in and out of the classroom a simplified guide with clear instructions on the most useful aspects of the platform was developed and shared with staff, successfully creating a community of instructors. A student guide was also prepared which showcased the methods for gaining the most from its use in and out of lectures. These resources are available in the appendix.

This chapter considers the development of systems to deliver multimedia content for new opera. After a short overview of the history of multimedia in opera, the specific requirements of opera are analysed, with emphasis of the fundamental musicality of operatic performance. Having considered the place of multimedia elements in the narrative and acting space, the relevance of previous practice in electroacoustic music and Vjing is considered as a model for a working approach. Several software and hardware configurations explored, including the use of gestural control by the actors themselves. The creation of a keyboard based “video instrument” with a dedicated performer, capable of integration into the pre- existing musical ensemble, is recommended as the most effective and practical solution.

The APPsyCI, a Portuguese research center, decided to incorporate, in all its areas of activity, a research line within Open Science articulated with information literacy (IL). The Open Science assumptions were implemented through several actions: repository management, teacher and researcher training, support for choosing the journals where to publish, dissemination, and promotion of scientific knowledge within FAIR principles. The social and academic impact of the research line provides some light on the national landscape for research innovation and broadens horizons and sheds when combining IL with Open Science. Thus, the creation of this research line within the research center shows that the association of Open Science with IL can be considered as the path and object of applied research.

This research was conducted by the Research and Development in the field of education. Intraktif CD video multimedia are developed in accordance with the subjects that are in the Department of Multimedia ie Web Programming. Multimedia video display CD Intraktif created a sort of tutorial to show you how making html web as well as in the materials developed are multimedia content such as images, animation and video effects to support interactive multimedia CD Intraktif developed. The results of the validation test against validator expert on the subjects of web programming and teachers pemgempu web programming subjects in smk n 3 singaraja according to indicators of material from the silabus.

The Introduction makes a case for gendering the history of sexology; specifically it argues that focusing on women’s ideas facilitates a more complex understanding of sexology as a form of knowledge and power. It begins by introducing the key figures and exploring the kinds of political promise they saw in scientific knowledge. It then challenges the limits of Foucault’s highly influential analysis of sexology by contextualizing sexology’s emergence within the rise of the women’s movement in the later nineteenth and early twentieth century. Moreover, the Introduction draws on the sociology of science to reframe sexology as a field, and thus to argue that sexology was built and animated by a diverse range of actors with disparate investments in the creation of this knowledge. Finally, it discusses the limitations of women’s sexual scientific work and the ambivalent legacy it bequeathed.
