AbstractThe interdependence of leader behaviour, leadership styles and interpersonal relations with followers suggests a need to investigate various aspects of leadership from the perspective of a follower, which is the main subject of the paper. The study aims to determine the quality of leader-member exchange (LMX) in order to reach a conclusion on whether the perception of followers on the quality of LMX affects the leadership style and which style is the most commonly used. The empirical research was conducted in 2015, in the Republic of Serbia, on a sample of 100 respondents, employees in 12 organisations, using the survey method. The results show there is the highest positive correlation between high quality LMX and participatory leadership style. In the opinion of the followers, achievement-oriented style is the most common, regardless of the fact that there are high quality LMX in the majority of companies in the sample. The importance of research is in highlighting the role of followers in the process of organisational leadership, as active and equal participants. Practical contribution is reflected in giving guidance for leaders for more active involvement of followers in the decision making process and adapting leadership style to specific traits of followers and the situational circumstances. Studies of this type are not often in the local organisational theory and practice.

. For sowing small seeds of vegetables, in particular onions, special seeders are used. They are not produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan, while many diff erent pneumatic seeders are produced abroad. The authors note that foreign samples are complex in design, not adapted to local soil and climatic conditions, cannot provide even seed placement on ridges, and the cost of the seeders themselves and service are very high.(Research purpose) To develop a vegetable seeder in relation to the soil and climatic conditions of Uzbekistan, to determine the seeding rate of onion seeds depending on the length of the active part of the seed reel, to evaluate the formation quality of sowing ridges and irrigation furrows.(Materials and methods) The authors determined the sowing rate by turning the seeder drive wheel at a given length of the active part of the sowing reel and collecting the sown seeds in cups with further weighing. The quality of sowing ridges and irrigation furrows formation was evaluated by the method of profi ling the fi eld before and after the seeder’s pass.(Results and discussion) The authors developed a vegetable seeder that performed three operations in one pass: cutting irrigation furrows, forming sowing ridges of a trapezoidal shape and sowing onion seeds and other small-seeded vegetable crops in a three-row tape method in each tape. They found that the dependence of the seeding rate on the length of the active part of the reel had a slightly fragile parabolic shape, and the required seeding rates – 24-48 pieces per linear meter (3.9-7.8 kilograms per hectare) – were provided with the length of the sowing reel 3.3- 6.2 millimeters. It was proved that the seeder provided a high-quality formation of sowing ridges and irrigation furrows: the row spacing was 68.8 centimeters (installation spacing – 70 centimeters), the top ridge width was 42.5 centimeters (the predetermined one was 40 centimeters), the depth of irrigation furrows was on average 9.6 centimeters.(Conclusions) A vegetable seeder was developed for sowing small-seeded vegetable crops with the simultaneous formation of sowing ridges and cutting irrigation furrows, which ensured high-quality performance of all operations and observance of onion seeds.

In the Republic of Tatarstan the seeding rate, included the state register of varieties of spring wheat is studied in detail. Improving farming, zoning strong new varieties of wheat and the introduction of various methods of seedbed preparation calls for further study of the issue. Of particular importance this issue is of importance in the study of particle size and uniformity of seed. The seeds have long been considered the foundation of the next harvest, the farmers have always paid great attention to quality. While in the farms of the republic is not in all the years the seeds of spring wheat crop had high quality. Cultivation technology should be aimed at ensuring the development of high levels of sowing qualities of seeds (germination energy, germination rate, the strength of growth, the number of primary roots). In this connection, along with other techniques, we studied the process of formation of seeds at different size and uniformity of spring wheat. In the overall system of measures, aimed at increasing the yield of spring wheat crop, great importance is given to high-quality seeds with optimum seeding rate.

The development of national study quality assurance systems, discussions about study quality is an important step towards the implementation of lifelong learning and Bologna process targets, priorities. Students of the Higher Education are important element in study quality assurancesystem. It is written in the Republic of Lithuania Law on Science and Studies (2009) 41 paragraph: that „any high school must continuously update website and use other social media sites to update precise quantitative and qualitative information about <...> attitude of students, graduate students and other interested parts on quality of studies”. The twenty-first century universities emphasize the attention on students, quality of studies which became an asset and are associated with competitiveness and expectations of successful future. The aim is to present the first-year student’s of pedagogy opinion, vision about high quality studies. The research instrument is the questionnaire in writing from with open and closed questions. The research was with 198 first-year students of pedagogy (2012–2013) from Lithuanian University of Educational sciences and students of pedagogy from Vilnius Pedagogical College.First-year students of pedagogy were chosen because their expectations do not rely yet on the prior learning experience. The survey was taken of the general methodological guidelines, voluntary participation, participants selected a convenient time and the fundamental principles of the survey. To participate in the survey was available in two ways: remote and writing at university.

The determination of flour end-use quality of progenies is a routine process in high-quality wheat breeding program. Traditional determination involves larger amount of flour and specific instruments, meanwhile, is expensive and time-consuming. A rapid and accurate method which could predict the quality of early generation wheat lines is in high demand in the wheat breeding program. Clarifying the relationships among different prediction indexes is the prerequisite for devising a new prediction method screening the high-quality progenies. This study aimed to clarify the correlations between SDS sedimentation value, SIG and SRCs for both wholemeal flour and flour, as well as to study which parameter could be applied to predict the flour quality of spring wheat rapidly and conveniently. The result of the study showed that WSRC correlated significantly with all the parameters determined, the four different SRCs varied significantly between hard wheat and soft wheat, while SDS sedimentation value and SIG showed no significant difference between hard wheat and soft wheat. SRC test may provide a convenient method for predicting the quality of early generation wheat lines in wheat breeding.

The paper presents the results of many-year research into the origin, preservation and rational use of the genetic resources of native livestock breeds in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). These breeds are characterized by high adaptability to extreme housing conditions and severe environmental conditions. They are not exacting about feeding and are distinguished by high quality of the produce (milk, meat, sldn and products of their processing). The article analyzes natural climatic, historic, social and economic developmental characteristics of Yakut animal husbandry. The main stages of the concept implementation for breeding and raising cattle of the adapted type on the regional level are described. Themolecularandgeneticresearchtestify to the unique genetic structure of native livestock breeds (Yakut cattle, horses and reindeer). The genetic unique character and adaptability of Yakut cattle, horses and reindeer to the harsh conditions make them a valuable material for further breeding work and research into adaptation mechanisms.
