The article considers pre-university graphic teaching in technical educational institutions on the example of secondary school “Lyceum № 38” in Nizhny Novgorod, taking into account requests of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev. The article possesses concreteness, technological eff ectiveness and systematic approach of conceptual framework and terminology intuitively clear to experts, teachers and people with engineering education who make the majority of teachers of graphic disciplines at schools and higher education institutions. Methodological approach, which is the basis for selection of educational elements, conforms to the requirements of modern pedagogical technologies. The purpose of methodological approach is teaching schoolchildren to read and execute drawings of details and assembly units of machine building and construction plans, and to apply graphic knowledge to solving creative tasks. That promotes mastering the basic knowledge and engineering graphics receptions both in «manual technologies» and in using computer technologies. A basic graphics package is AutoCAD. It will provide further study of special disciplines according to technologies of modern engineering.

The paper examines the features of visual thinking, the authors note the importance of visual examples in modern engineering education. The article describes a methodological approach to presenting the course, based on visual theorem proofs. An example is considered the course “Theory of multivariable function” Visual examples were created at the Department of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The proposed methodological approach to the development of the course “Theory of multivariable function” allows you to use the elements of the created course in various variations for disciplines using the concept of functions of many variables, depending on the direction of training (specialty).

Appearing in Russia of the new cluster of support universities changes their activity in the case of connection with different regional communities. In order to research the experience of support universities’ libraries the Omsk state technical university (OmSTU) scientific library had organized and hold the special webinar. In the preparatory stage the great analytical work had been done. The analysis of support universities libraries’ cites had been performed. It allowed to distinguish events, directed on the interaction with the regional audience. Synchronous studying of strategic universities’ documents allowed the analysis of the role of libraries in realization of universities’ development programms. The results of this work and the opinions, formed during the webinar, are described in this article. Authors also offer the decisions for an effective collaboration and experience exchange between the support universities’ libraries. For example, on the special event of The Russian Library Association section of the higher educational institutions’ libraries.

Objective. The authors of this article studied and analyzed the sanitary condition of the soil in the territory of Astrakhan State Technical University and the nearby territories of higher educational institutions. Materials and methods. The study was carried out in May June 2019 on the basis of the laboratory of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology of Astrakhan State Medical University and the laboratory of the Department of Applied Biology and Microbiology of Astrakhan State Technical University. Thirty soil samples were taken from these territories. The studies of soil samples for parasitological indicators were performed according to the guidelines "Control Methods. Biological and Microbiological Factors. Methods of Sanitary and Parasitological Research", for microbiological indicators "Methods of Soil Microbiological Control". Results. The following results were obtained: the sanitary-parasitological condition of the soil in parks near higher educational institutions in Astrakhan remains very tense as evidenced by positive findings of geohelminthoses; when assessing the degree of epidemic hazard of soil, there were identified nematode eggs and adult worm Strongyloids, that corresponds to the indicators of moderately hazard soil; the presence of live strongylid larvae in the studied samples indicates contamination of the soil with feces of infested animals, and the presence of Ascaris eggs indicates contamination of the soil with sewage or feces of infested children walking and resting in these territories; the total microbial number on average gave indicators for evaluating the selected soil samples as a slightly polluted soil. Conclusions. The sanitary and parasitological state of soil in parks of Astrakhan higher educational institutions remains rather tense as evidenced by positive findings of geohelminthoses.

Adolescence involves significant developmental changes and challenges including heightened body image concerns. However, there is limited research on adaptive ways of responding to perceived threats to body image. This study uses body image flexibility, derived from contextual behavioral perspectives, and coping theories to explore young people’s responses to body image threats. High school and university students (12 male, 15 female) aged 12 to 24 years were recruited from educational institutions in a metropolitan area of Australia. Thematic analysis of semistructured interviews identified themes related to body image threats from internal and external sources. In response to these threats, young people reported coping by changing the content of, and how they related to, perceived threats, and seeking social support. In addition, young people viewed coping as a dynamic process that changed over time and across situations. Reported processes of attending to, and allowing, momentary negative experiences and connecting with other important life domains were consistent with body image flexibility. The coping context affected the selection of coping strategies, with body image flexibility facilitating more adaptive coping for some participants. Further investigation of contextual behavioral approaches, such as body image flexibility, could help to better understand and promote adaptive body image coping in youth.
