Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengungkapkan pengembangan profesionalitas pendidik yang selama ini diterapkan; (2) menemukan model pengembangan teacherpreneur; dan (3) menentukan keefektifan internal model teacherpreneur di SMK Bidang Keahlian Teknologi dan Rekayasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development yang terdiri dari tiga langkah: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji coba internal. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK negeri dan swasta di kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengembangan profesionalitas pendidik pada guru SMK yang diteliti sebagian besar berasal dari pemerintah, dan dari sekolah. Program pemerintah terdiri dari MGMP, OJT, sosialisasi kurikulum, ujian kompetensi, dan diklat assessor, sedangkan program pengembangan pendidik di sekolah bergantung pada kebijakan dan strategi dari masing-masing kepala sekolah; (2) Model teacherpreneur yang dikembangkan tersusun atas komponen kompetensi, kreatifitas, dan efektivitas; (3) Keefektifan model hasil uji internal yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ahli setuju dengan kategori: (a) komponen model telah lengkap (92,83%); (b) struktur komponen model telah jelas (91,65%); (c) hubungan antar komponen model telah jelas (95,83%); (d) keterbacaan model telah baik (95,83%); (e) model telah layak (95,83%); dan (f) model efektif jika diimplementasikan (87,5%). Kata kunci: pengembangan, profesionalitas, pendidik, teacherpreneur DEVELOPING A MODEL OF TEACHERPRENEUR IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS Abstract This research aimed to: (1) reveal the teacher’s professional development model currently applied; (2) generate a teacherpreneur development model; and (3) determine the internal effectiveness of teacherpreneur development model in the vocational high schools (SMK) having the study program of technology and engineering expertise. This research employed the research and development method which consisted of three steps: preliminary study, model development, and internal try-out of the model. It was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Perindustrian, SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, and SMK Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta. The research data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation. The results are as follows: (1) the professional development of the teachers were mostly programmed by the government and school. The government program consisted of the association of the subject teachers (MGMP), OJT, curriculum socialization, competence examination, and assessor training, while the school program depended on the policy and strategies of each principal; (2) the teacherpreneur developed consisted of the componenets of competency, creativity, and effectiveness; (3) the result of the internal try-out involving the authority in the City Education Office, the experts of vocational education, and the SMK administrators concluded that: (a) 92.83% of experts agreed that the components of the model were sufficient, (b) 91.65% of experts agreed that the structure of the components of the model was understood, (c) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the relationship between the components was clear, (d) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the model had good readability, (e) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the model was appropriate, and (f) 87.5% agreed that the model would be effective for implementation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Rendahnya Minat Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) memasuki Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Di Tapanuli Utara yaitu menganalisis hubungan Sikap Siswa terhadap SMK dengan Minat Siswa Memasuki SMK di Tapanuli Utara, Pengaruh Teman Sebaya dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK di Tapanuli Utara, Harapan Orang Tua dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK di Tapanuli Utara, dan hubungan antara Sikap siswa terhadap SMK, Pengaruh Teman Sebaya, Harapan Orang Tua secara bersama-sama dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK di Tapanuli Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Seluruh siswa SMKN Kelas 1 di Tapanuli Utara Sumatera Utara. Sampel penelitian dipilih sebanyak 158 orang siswa SMK Kelas 1 yang ditetapkan secara acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Sikap siswa terhadap SMK dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Pengaruh Teman Sebaya dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK.Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Harapan orangtua dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK. Terdapat hubungan positif dan siginifikan antara Sikap siswa terhadap SMK, Pengaruh Teman Sebaya dan Harapan orangtua secara bersama-sama dengan Minat siswa memasuki SMK.   The purpose of this study was to analyze a) the Factors Affecting the Low Interest of Junior High School Graduates entering the Vocational High School (SMK) in North Tapanuli, b) the relationship of Student Attitudes towards Vocational High Schools with Students' Interest in Entering Vocational High Schools in North Tapanuli, c) Peer Influence with the Interest of Students in Entering Vocational High Schools in North Tapanuli, d) Parents' Expectations with Interest of Students in Entering Vocational High Schools in North Tapanuli, and e) the relationship between student attitudes toward Vocational High Schools, Peer Influence, Parents' Expectations together with students' interest in entering Vocational High Schools in North Tapanuli. The research method was quantitative research with a correlational approach. The study population was all First Grade Students of Vocational High School in North Tapanuli North Sumatra. The samples of the study were 158 First Graders in Vocational High School who were assigned by simple random sampling. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between students 'attitudes towards vocational school with students' interest in entering vocational school. There was a positive and significant relationship between Peer Influence and the interest of students entering the Vocational High School. There was a positive and significant relationship between the expectations of parents and the interest of students entering the Vocational High School. There was a positive and significant relationship between student attitudes toward Vocational High School, peer influence, and parents' expectations together with students' interest in entering Vocational High School.

This study aims to examine the relationship between teachers’ spiritual well-being and happiness levels. Being quantitative in nature, this study employs a relationship survey model. A total of 390 teachers employed in various grades of different types of schools (i.e., primary schools, middle schools, Imam-Khatib middle schools, Anatolian-science high schools, Imam-Khatib high schools, and vocational high schools) in Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece district volunteered to participate in this study. The Personal Information Form, the Spiritual Well-Being Scale, and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire were employed to collect data, which were then analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and a regression analysis. The results of these analyses reveal that happiness is significantly and positively correlated with transcendence and harmony with nature whereas happiness is significantly and negatively correlated with anomie. While transcendence positively affects teachers’ happiness, anomie negatively affects them. It has been found that this effect size is medium. Another important finding obtained in the study is that harmony with nature, one of the sub-dimensions of spiritual well-being, does not affect teachers’ happiness.

Abstract.Narcissism is seen as a multidimensional construct that consists of two manifestations: grandiose and vulnerable narcissism. In order to define these two manifestations, their relationship to personality factors has increasingly become of interest. However, so far no studies have considered the relationship between different phenotypes of narcissism and personality factors in adolescents. Method: In a cross-sectional study, we examine a group of adolescents (n = 98; average age 16.77 years; 23.5 % female) with regard to the relationship between Big Five personality factors and pathological narcissism using self-report instruments. This group is compared to a group of young adults (n = 38; average age 19.69 years; 25.6 % female). Results: Grandiose narcissism is primarily related to low Agreeableness and Extraversion, vulnerable narcissism to Neuroticism. We do not find differences between adolescents and young adults concerning the relationship between grandiose and vulnerable narcissism and personality traits. Discussion: Vulnerable and grandiose narcissism can be well differentiated in adolescents, and the pattern does not show substantial differences compared to young adults.

Abstract. This study examines the relationship between students' personality and intelligence scores with their preferences for the personality profile of their lecturers. Student ratings (N = 136) of 30 lecturer trait characteristics were coded into an internally reliable Big Five taxonomy ( Costa & McCrae, 1992 ). Descriptive statistics showed that, overall, students tended to prefer conscientious, open, and stable lecturers, though correlations revealed that these preferences were largely a function of students' own personality traits. Thus, open students preferred open lecturers, while agreeable students preferred agreeable lecturers. There was evidence of a similarity effect for both Agreeableness and Openness. In addition, less intelligent students were more likely to prefer agreeable lecturers than their more intelligent counterparts were. A series of regressions showed that individual differences are particularly good predictors of preferences for agreeable lecturers, and modest, albeit significant, predictors of preferences for open and neurotic lecturers. Educational and vocational implications are considered.

Abstract. Prosocial behavior is intended to benefit others rather than oneself and is positively linked to personality traits such as Agreeableness and Honesty-Humility, and usually negatively to the Dark Triad traits (i.e., Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy). However, a significant proportion of the research in this area is conducted solely on self-report measures of prosocial behavior. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between prosociality and the basic (i.e., HEXACO) and dark personality traits, comparing their contribution in predicting both self-reported prosociality and prosocial behavior. Results of the hierarchical regression analyses showed that the Dark Triad traits explain prosociality and prosocial behavior above and beyond the HEXACO traits, emphasizing the importance of the Dark Triad in the personality space.
