Квалитет социјалног развоја зависи од утицаја многобројнихфактора, попут породице, школе, вршњака. Добра социјална прилагођеност је предиктордобре друштвене афирмације, док социјално неприхватљиво понашање може иматиутицај на академски, емоционални и бихејвиорални развој дјетета. Циљ овогистраживања је испитивање разлике у социјалном понашању ученика, које посматрамокроз социјалну компетенцију и антисоцијално понашање, у односу на школски успјех.Узорак је чинило 50 ученика са лаком интелектуалном ометеношћу (у даљем текстуЛИО), као екперименталне групе, и 50 ученика типичног развоја (у даљем тексту ТР) каоконтролне групе. У узорак су укључени ученици од 2. до 5. разреда. У циљу добијањапотпуног увида у социјално понашање ученика коришћена је Скала социјалног понашања ушколи – SSBS-2 (School Social Behavior Scale, Second Edition, Merrell, 2002). Резултати супоказали да постоји статистички значајна разлика у развијености социјалнекомпетенције у односу на школски успјех, како ученика са ЛИО (p = 0,005), тако и ученикаТР (p = 0,000). С друге стране, школски успјех није условио разлике у испољавањуантисоцијалног понашања ученика са ЛИО (p = 0,540), док је разлика уочена код ученикаТР (p = 0,001). Добијени резултати потврђују теоријско становиште о важностисоцијалне компетенције у цјелокупном функционисању особе, укључујући постизањепозитивних академских исхода.

Following the recent disaster, Hurricane Camille, a large group of patients were transferred from one neuropsychiatric hospital to another. In making arrangements to accept and accommodate new patients, rapid decisions had to be made to relocate patients within the hospital. The staff transferred patients from a regressed geriatric unit to one of three units based upon subjective decisions as to the patients' capacity to care for themselves. Follow-up data with the Minimal Social Behavior Scale show that they made accurate decisions.

The sporting context favors exchange and promotes social relations. Although there are various tools for measuring social behavior, most of them are not adapted to the Spanish context. The aim of the present study was to adapt and validate the Scale of Prosocial and Antisocial Behavior in Sports (PABSS) for that context. The sample was made up of 732 athletes between the ages of 18 and 38 (M = 22.9; SD = 7.3). Statistical analyses allowed us to confirm their appropriate psychometric properties. Exploratory factor analysis revealed the existence of two factors (antisocial behavior and prosocial behavior). The results of the confirmatory factor analysis supported the internal structure of the questionnaire. In addition, the scale was invariant with respect to gender. Cronbach’s Alpha values above 0.70 were found in the different subscales, as well as adequate temporal stability. Therefore, the scale provides a very useful tool in clarifying behavioral processes at the base of prosocial and antisocial behavior in adults towards teammates or rivals in the context of sports competitions in Spain.
