The Internet is currently the largest network of communication worldwide and is where technological advances could be observed. The original creation of the Internet was based on the idea that this network would be formed mainly by multiple independent networks with an arbitrary design. The Internet is the place where all countries communicate and disseminate information in real time, this phenomenon directly affects economies, businesses, and society. This article shows what the future of the Internet is, our research carries out a qualitative prospective analysis on projects and investigations in which the scientific community is currently working, the information is analyzed, and the highlighted topics are shown.

Law reviews and legal journals have been part of the legal academic world for more than a century. [1] These legal publications are unique because they are completely run by students. However, over the last few decades, law reviews and legal journals have been highly criticized, and some critics even predict their demise. [2] If law reviews and legal journals expect to survive and remain valuable academic resources, then certain changes need to be made, and these changes are the responsibility of the student editors. Although some legal publications are making changes for the better, such as publishing online, more can be done to improve these student-run publications. By taking advantage of technological advances, especially the Internet, law reviews and legal journals can reduce the time it takes to publish an issue. In addition, these technological advances allow legal publications to offer many new features and services for both the authors and the readers. However, updating a publication with these new technological advances can be expensive. Thus, law reviews and legal journals need to generate more income from other sources than just subscriptions.

The indexing process has changed remarkably with technological advances. Indexing is no longer just ‘back-ofbook’ indexing, but includes automatic indexing, machine-aided indexing, web indexing and even 3-D indexing. Not all the effects have been positive, especially for the indexer, but the future of the Internet and efficient information retrieval lies with indexing.

Smart Home is one of the popular technological advances and developed by researchers or academics because of its high potential to be implemented in various fields. Smart Home is an Internet of Things based technology, which means that by connecting to the internet everyone can connect whenever and wherever they are. With the presence of smart home, it can simplify human problems and limitations. This paper describes the design and prototype of smart Home based on Internet of Things Applications on Android. There is an android application that functions to control and monitor the smart home. By using NodeMCU, is used as a line communication device between users and smartphones. The use of databases in Firebase makes the data on the smart home always real-time active because it is connected to Google servers. We also develop an android application; thus smart home can be controlled by its owner. Keywords: Smart Home, Internet of Thing, Android, Firebase.

In this probe, I seek to analyse the characteristics and tendencies of virtual groups, which I define as any group of people that are connected in a decentralized and persistent manner, via the internet or cellular networks. By analysing two dimensions that shape virtual groups – their size and their velocity of communication – we can understand some intrinsic environments that are formed, by nature of the medium itself. The velocity of a platform can be understood as how quickly ideas are transferred and a response is expected – consider reading a forum post versus participating in a video chat. Slow-velocity mediums, by nature of the eye, tend to promote an individualistic view and refined thoughts. High-velocity mediums, corresponding to the ear and occurring in real time, promote more unity and collective views. The second dimension (the size or openness of a platform) is determined both by how many members are in the group, but also by how access is controlled. Small and private groups, like a close-knit tribe, function as a whole and promote familial harmony. Large or public groups struggle to maintain a collective vision but benefit from a wide variety of view points. By analysing these dimensions together and looking at specific examples, we can strive to understand deep-seated issues within virtual groups and make predictions for what the future of decentralized gatherings will look like.

One of the central questions in international relations today is how we should conceive of state sovereignty. The notion of sovereignty—’supreme authority within a territory’, as Daniel Philpott defines it—emerged after the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 as a result of which the late medieval crisis of pluralism was settled. But recent changes in the international order, such as technological advances that have spurred globalization and the emerging norm of the Responsibility to Protect, have cast the notion of sovereignty into an unclear light. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the current debate regarding sovereignty by exploring two schools of thought on the matter: first, three Catholic scholars from the past century—Luigi Sturzo, Jacques Maritain, and John Courtney Murray, S.J.—taken as representative of Catholic tradition; second, a number of contemporary political theorists of cosmopolitan democracy. The paper argues that there is a confluence between the Catholic thinkers and the cosmopolitan democrats regarding their understanding of state sovereignty and that, taken together, the two schools have much to contribute not only to our current understanding of sovereignty, but also to the future of global governance.
