In a fully mechanized coal-mining face, the positioning and attitude of the shearer and scraper conveyor are inaccurate. To overcome this problem, a joint positioning and attitude solving method that considers the effect of an uneven floor is proposed. In addition, the real-time connection and coupling relationship between the two devices is analyzed. Two types of sensors, namely, the tilt sensor and strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS), are used to measure the shearer body pitch angle and the scraper conveyor shape, respectively. To improve the accuracy, two pieces of information are fused using the adaptive information fusion algorithm. It is observed that, using a marking strategy, the shearer body pitch angle can be reversely mapped to the real-time shape of the scraper conveyor. Then, a virtual-reality (VR) software that can visually simulate this entire operation process under different conditions is developed. Finally, experiments are conducted on a prototype experimental platform. The positioning error is found to be less than 0.38 times the middle trough length; moreover, no accumulated error is detected. This method can monitor the operation of the shearer and scraper conveyor in a highly dynamic and precise manner and provide strong technical support for safe and efficient operation of a fully mechanized coal-mining face.

The horizontal bending angle of scraper conveyor has a great influence on the running resistance, the current consumption, coal winning efficiency of the working surface, etc. Approximately 1–3° is usually the range of horizontal bending angle, but does not indicate the optimum bending angle of the coal mining face. To find the optimal horizontal bending angle, an optimization method is proposed. A mathematical calculation model of the running resistance of the scraper is established based on the direction of the shearer operation. Then, a method of adjusting the step size of the search by inertia weight and expanding fly distance range obeying the t-distribution is proposed based on the basic bat algorithm (BA). Finally, an industrial application was conducted in 21220 Changcun fully mechanized coal mining face, Henan Province. The results show that the current consumption by the scraper conveyor was reduced by 31% when the horizontal bending angle of the S-bending area was 0.66°. Meanwhile, the theoretical current has good consistency with the experimental data, and the average absolute error was 3%.

According to the quayside container crane, the pitch angle of the front crossbeam only can be used to classify the states of the whole crane into operating and non-operating. The Vibration Carpet Value (VCV)is presented in this paper. By means of VCV, the motor states including working and non-working can be correctly classified. Based on the classified result, by the methodology of Wavelet Packet Quantization Analysis Technique based on EMD, the real-time monitoring and evaluation of the motor condition are more correct and effective.

In this paper, the physical station of space network was extended in time dimension by combining the train diagram information and station technical operation standard time. At the same time, the topology of railway space-time network which considered the secondary operation process of train was constructed and an improved A* algorithm based on car flow routing was proposed to generate feasible path sets. On this basis, a dynamic car flow organization optimization model was built to simulate the railway car flow organization process under abnormal conditions, and the results of solving the model could be used to obtain the real-time quantity of cars at each station.This paper can identify the dynamic bottleneck by comparing the real-time quantity of cars with the maximum quantity of cars at the station. Finally, the feasibility of this method was analyzed and verified by a case.

The video images of human face tracking and recognition is a hot research field of biometric recognition and artificial intelligence in recent years. This paper presents an automatic face tracking and recognition system, which can track multiple faces real-timely and recognize the identity. Aiming at Adaboost face detection algorithm is easy to false detection, presents a fusion algorithm based on Adaboost face detection algorithm and Active Shape Model. The algorithm is not only detect face real-timely but also remove the non-face areas; A multi thread CamShift tracking algorithm is proposed for many faces interlaced and face number of changes in the scene . Meanwhile, the algorithm also can identify the faces which have been tracked in the video. The experiment results show that the system is capable of improving the accurate rate of faces detection and recognition in complex backgrounds, and furthermore it also can track the real-time faces effectively.
