A significant promotion effect of methanoic acid (MA) was proposed in the photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of fulvic acid (FA) and the degradation mechanism was also discussed. The PEC degradation property of FA and MA was investigated by an assembled thin-layer PEC reactor in which photoanode is TiO2nanotube arrays (TNAs) material. The result shows that only about 40% of FA was degraded, while MA could be completely degraded at the same condition. When mixing MA with FA, it shows a significant improvement in the degradation of FA. For instance, 50 mg/L FA mixed with 45 mg/L MA could achieve exhausted degradation. The results could be attributed to the promotion effect of MA that enhanced the generation of hydroxyl radicals, which maintain the continuous degradation of both FA and the intermediate products during the PEC process. This study proposed a new way of promoting the PEC degradation of FA as well as removing humus from the polluted water.

This Experiment study on the simultaneous degradation effect of Cu(II) and Cr(Ⅵ) in the micro-polluted water by potassium ferrate. And the influential elements on the removal effects and probed into the degradation mechanism was analyzed. The results indicated that the removal rates of Cu(II),Cr(Ⅵ) by synergetic effect of potassium ferrate oxidation and coagulation were 76.2%、62.2%,respectively,when the optimizing conditions were as follows: oxidation pH was 7,oxidation time was 20min,flocculation pH was 9,flocculation time was 30min and dosage of potassium ferrate was 40mg/L.

Abstract. In this paper we have presented the degradation of Phenol in aqueous solution which is caused by pulse discharge. The reaction products in the wastewater dissolved phenol under pulsed discharge were tested using GC-MS. Based on the experimental results intermediate products include 2,4hydroxyphnel, polyhydroxy phenethyl alcohol and so on. The final products are carbon dioxide and water. In addition, the theoretical analysis has been conducted These results will be helpful for further studying degradation mechanism of wastewater dissolved phenol under pulsed discharge, using either AC or DC voltage.

N-doped Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotube arrays were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM),X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to analyse its surface morphology, crystal types and the doping behavior of nitrogen. The material was used as electrode for photoelectrocatalytic degradation of hexachlorobenzen under irradiation of simulated sunlight. The effects of photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, photoelectrocatalysis, the concentration of Na2SO4 and pH value on degradation of HCB were investigated.
