We establish an iterative method for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of nonexpansive semigroup and the set of split equilibrium problems. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are proved. Our works improve previous results for nonexpansive semigroup.

Abstract In this paper, we study a modified extragradient method for computing a common solution to the split equilibrium problem and fixed point problem of a nonexpansive semigroup in real Hilbert spaces. The weak and strong convergence characteristics of the proposed algorithm are investigated by employing suitable control conditions in such a setting of spaces. As a consequence, we provide a simplified analysis of various existing results concerning the extragradient method in the current literature. We also provide a numerical example to strengthen the theoretical results and the applicability of the proposed algorithm.

Introducing a new iterative method, we study the existence of a common element of the set of solutions of equilibrium problems for a family of monotone, Lipschitz-type continuous mappings and the sets of fixed points of two nonexpansive semigroups in a real Hilbert space. We establish strong convergence theorems of the new iterative method for the solution of the variational inequality problem which is the optimality condition for the minimization problem. Our results improve and generalize the corresponding recent results of Anh (2012), Cianciaruso et al. (2010), and many others.

In this paper, we investigate the split equilibrium problem and fixed point problem in Hilbert spaces. We propose an iterative scheme for solving such problem in which the involved equilibrium bifunctions f and g are pseudomonotone and monotone, respectively, and the operators S and T are all pseudocontractive. We show that the suggested scheme converges strongly to a solution of the considered problem.

In this paper, a new algorithm for finding a common element of a split equality fixed point problem for nonexpansive mappings and split equality equilibrium problem in three Banach spaces is introduced. Also, some strong and weak convergence theorems for the proposed algorithm are proved. Finally, the main results obtained in this paper are applied to solve the split equality convex minimization problem.

In this paper, we introduce an iterative algorithm for finding a common solution of a finite family of the equilibrium problems, quasi-variational inclusion problems and fixed point problem on Hadamard manifolds. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are proved. Our results extend some recent results in literature.

The purpose of this article is to investigate a projection algorithm for solving a fixed point problem of a closed multi-valued Bregman quasi-strict pseudocontraction and an equilibrium problem of a bifunction. Strong convergence of the projection algorithm is obtained without any compact assumption in a reflexive Banach space. As applications, monotone variational inequality problems are considered. Finally, a numerical simulation example is presented for demonstrating the feasibility and convergence of the algorithm proposed in main result.
