Wire bonder is a typical high speed machine. The motion speed of XY-stage is the key factor of bonding efficiency. However, phase lag elements in the servo system limit the bandwidth and slow down the system’s response. A predictive velocity observer is proposed to compensate for those phase lags. Then, the velocity loop controller can be designed as for a servo system which does not have those phase lags. Loop gains are enlarged and bandwidth is enlarged correspondingly. Then, the motion speed is improved and settling time is decreased. Experiment results verify that the predictive velocity observer provided a significant phase lead and the performance of wire bonder is improved.

Base on constitution of the self-oscillation linear actuator which is a servo system for a gun launched missile, a nonlinear model was built. Though the experiment, the model is correct. This paper studied the stability, the self-oscillation's frequency and gain on this kind of servo system. On comparing phase-lead compensation and phase-lag compensation, the later is more suitable for this system. After testing, the lag regulator is designed for the system.

An embebbed system based on S3C6410 controller and Linux operating system is established to overcome the deficiencies of the traditional control system for high accuracy processing of grinding diesel injector nozzle because of its high speed and real-time performance. In this paper, the general structure of the system is designed firstly. Secondly, the detailed hardware platform is constructed and its peripheral equipment is selected. In addition, the software structure is presented. Finally, the main application program, including of processing control program and algorithm of the flow signal processing which is the key factor for high accuracy maching, is studied. The actual processing data shows that this system has good real-time performance, high processing accuracy and stablity.

Research on the post-processing algorithm with the DMC75VLinear 5-axis machining center and Heidenhain iTNC530 numerical control system. The formulae about angles B and C are proposed combined with the instruction of M128.The NC codes gotten from this method had been proved in the DMC75VLinea machine, so the post-processing algorithm is tested correctly and reliably.

BLDC motors are characterized by electronic commutation, which is performed by using an electric three-phase inverter. The direct control system of the BLDC motor consists of double loops; including the inner-loop for current regulating and outer-loop for speed control. The operation of the current controller requires feedback of motor currents; the conventional current controller uses two current sensors on the ac side of the inverter to measure the currents of two phases, while the third current would be accordingly calculated. These two sensors should have the same characteristics, to achieve balanced current measurements. It should be noted that the sensitivity of these sensors changes with time. In the case of one sensor fails, both of them must be replaced. To overcome this problem, it is preferable to use one sensor instead of two. The proposed control system is based on a deadbeat predictive controller, which is used to regulate the DC current of the BLDC motor. Such a controller can be considered as digital controller mode, which has fast response, high precision and can be easily implemented with microprocessor. The proposed control system has been simulated using Matlab software, and the system is tested at a different operating condition such as low speed and high speed.

The assessment of the limiting state of high-speed machine-manual taps in the processing of structural steel billets is considered. A general multi-parameter dependence is developed for calculating the criterion of allowable wear, which makes it possible to rationally use the tool life and normalize the cut amount during regrinding. Keywords thread cutting, tap, angle of the cutting part, criterion, high-speed steel, wear, failure, life, service life. [email protected]
