The new organotin compound, Ph2Sn(Cl)[S(C7H3N2O2S)]·[(C7H3N2O2S)OEt], assembled by an intermolecular aromatic benzothiazole–benzothiazole π-π stacking interaction, has been synthesized by the reaction of diphenyltin dichloride with 2-mercapto-6-nitrobenzothiazole. The title compound was characterized by elemental, IR, 1H NMR, and X-ray crystallography analyses. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data reveals that the title compound has two different molecular components. The component Ph2Sn(Cl)[S(C7H3N2O2S)] has a pentacoordinate tin, which further forms an infinite one-dimensional chain by intermolecular non-bonded Cl···S interactions, resulting in an intercalation lattice that holds (C7H3N2O2S)OEt molecules. The formation of the molecule (C7H3N2O2S)OEt as well as its intercalated mechanism has also been discussed.Key words: organotin, assemble, π-π stacking interaction, 2-mercapto-6-nitrobenzothiazole, non-bonded interaction, crystal structure.

The mercury(II) complexes of 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), [Hg(bpy)(NO2)2], [Hg(bpy)(NO2) (CH3COO)], and [Hg(bpy)(NO2)(NCS)] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The structure of [Hg(bpy)(NO2)2] has been confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The complex is a monomer and the Hg atom has an unsymmetrical six-coordinate geometry, formed by two nitrogen atoms of the bpy ligand and four oxygen atoms of the two nitrite anions. There is a short intermolecular π-π stacking interaction between parallel aromatic rings

In the title compound, C24H30N6O5, the cyclohexyl ring adopts a chair conformation, while the remainder of the molecule adopts a U-shape. The dihedral angles between the pyridine ring and the pendant pyrimidine rings are 69.04 (12) and 75.99 (9)°. The two pyrimidine rings, however, are nearly parallel to one another, with a dihedral angle of 8.56 (15)° between them. They are also involved in an intramolecular π–π stacking interaction with a distance of 3.6627 (18) Å between the ring centroids. In the crystal, C—H...O contacts link the molecules into chains along thebaxis.

The title compound, [Pd(C7H5O2)Cl(C18H15P)], is a new type of α-diketone palladium(II) complex containing a tertiary arylphosphine. It crystallizes with a distorted square-planar geometry about the palladium(II) metal centre. The most important bond distances and angles include Pd—O (trans P) = 2.0481 (12) Å, Pd—O (trans Cl) = 2.0016 (12) Å, Pd—P = 2.2268 (4) Å, Pd—Cl = 2.2770 (5) Å, O—Pd—O = 80.22 (5)° and O—C—C—O = 3.7 (2)°. A π–π stacking interaction is observed between neighbouring tropolonate groups, with an interplanar distance of 3.377 (6) Å.

rac-Bis{μ-trans-2,2′-[pentane-1,5-diylbis(azanediyl)]ditroponato}dipalladium(II), [Pd2(C19H20N2O2)2], has been synthesized and fully characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction,1H NMR, FT–IR and mass spectroscopy. Thetranscoordination, vaulted structure andanticonformation have been unequivocally established from the X-ray diffraction studies. This is the first example of a bis(aminotroponato)palladium complex. In the crystalline state, the molecule has twofold symmetry and each molecular unit undergoes intermolecular offset π-stacking of the tropone rings to afford heterochiral interpenetrating dimers that are aligned in a lamellar manner with a herringbone packing motif.

The title compound was obtained as the major product of our handling of the literature preparation of tris(imidazol-2-yl)phosphine. The compound was characterized by 1H NMR, mass and vibrational spectroscopy. The structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystals were triclinic, [Formula: see text], a = 7.677(1), b = 12.658(2), c = 10.072(2) Å, α = 91.18(1),β = 114.44(1),γ = 99.49(1)°, Z = 4. Intensities were measured on a Syntex P21 diffractometer with MoKα radiation and 3088 reflections were used to determine the structure. R = 0.0698, Rw = 0.0534. The phosphinic acid exists in the solid as the zwitterionic form and bond lengths and angles are normal. Keywords: tris(imidazol-2-yl)phosphine, X-ray structure, bis(imidazol-2-yl)phosphinic acid hemihydrate.

In current work, we have firstly synthesized 4-(2-chlorobenzyl)-1-(4-hydroxy-3- ((4-hydroxypiperidin-1-yl)methyl)-5-methoxyphenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinazolin-5(4H)-one (1) by ring-opening, cyclization, substitution, doamine condensation and Mannich reactions. The structural properties of the title compound 1 were explored using spectroscopy (1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS and FT-IR) and X-ray crystallography method. The single-crystal structure confirmed by X-ray diffraction was consistent with the molecular structure optimized by density functional theory (DFT) calculation at B3LYP/6-311G (2d, p) level of theory. The geometrical parameters, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) and frontier molecular orbital (FMO) analysis were performed by DFT using the B3LYP/6-311G (2d, p) method. Molecular docking has shown favorable interaction between the title compound 1 and SHP2 protein. The inhibitory activity of target compound 1 on SHP2 protein at 10 μM is better than the reference compound (SHP244).

Thiourea derivatives [N-(di-n-propylcarbamothioyl)-4-fluorobenzamide (HL1) and N-(di-n-propylcarbamothioyl)-4-bromobenzamide (HL2)] and their platinum complexes have been successfully synthesized and structurally characterized by spectroscopic 1H NMR, 13C NMR, COSY, HMQC, and FT-IR techniques. The structure of both complexes was also confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The study of X-ray single crystal diffraction shows that the supramolecular aggregation of the complexes is stabilized via weak interactions as well as stacking interactions such as C-H···π and π···π. The cis-[Pt(L1-S,O)2 showed C–H···π and π···π stacking interactions, whereas only C–H···π stacking interaction was observed in cis-[Pt(L2-S,O)2]. In addition, the strong classical and non-classical intermolecular hydrogen bonds are not found in the prepared complexes. Therefore, it can be said that the C–H···π and π···π stacking interactions play an important role in the formation of supramolecular structures of the complexes.

The molecules of the title compound, C20H15BrClNO, are linked into chains by a C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bond, in which the acceptor is the brominated ring of the naphthalene unit, and these chains are linked by an aromatic π–π stacking interaction, again involving the naphthalene unit, into a sheet structure.
