Seventeen species of the order Anseriformes were dissected and diagrams of the arrangement-patterns of the main arteries of the neck and thorax prepared. All specimens were found to be bicarotidinae normales. Both the right ligamentum aortae and the left ligamentum botalli were present in all of the forms that were studied. Three new vessels were found in several species of ducks. The allantoic artery arises as a branch of the left ischiadic artery in the embryonic Canada goose. The left radix aortae forms an anastomosis with the left pulmonary arch after atrophy of the left systemic arch. The left ductus botalli atrophies after this anastomosis and disappears almost entirely by the time the bird hatches.

Suárez undertakes systematic study of natural moral law in Book II of De legibus, which is integrally consecrated to the study of the eternal law, natural right and the right of nations. In confrontation, among others, with the thesis of Gabriel Vázquez, Suárez maintains the natural moral law is a divine obligatory law or command, which orders to do or to avoid that which is «fitting» or «unfitting» with the human rational nature. Divine Mind and Will contribute thus, each within the bounds of his own sphere, towards the promulgation of the natural moral law.

Ten species of the Compsothlypidae were dissected and diagrams of the arterial arrangement in the neck and thorax prepared. The basic family arrangement-pattern was found to be characteristic for all of the species studied. The ligamentum aortae was present and somewhat reduced, while the right ligamentum botalli was completely atrophied. The intercostal arteries arose near the base of the coracoid major arteries.

Thirty heads with neck segments of turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) were dissected for a systematic study of the arteries. The frequency of the arteries found was: Cerebral carotid artery, intercarotid anastomosis and internal ophthalmic artery (100%). Caudal branch of the cerebral carotid artery to the right (R) vestigial artery (70%) and developed (30%) and to the left (L) developed (70%) and vestigial artery (30%). Ventral tectal mesencephalic artery in (70%) to R and (30%) to L was the direct branch of the cerebral carotid artery to L (70%) and to R (30%) collateral branch of the developed caudal branch. Basilar artery to L in (70%) and to R (30%) formed from the developed caudal branch; rostral ventral cerebellar artery present (86.7%) and absent (13.3%) to R and L. Caudal ventral cerebellar artery to R single (73.3%), double (23.3%) and triple (3.3%); caudal ventral cerebellar artery to L single (73.3%) and double (26.7%). Dorsal spinal artery branch of caudal ventral cerebellar artery to R (80%) and to L (73.3%). The rostral branch of cerebral carotid artery showed as collateral branches the single caudal cerebral artery to R (100%) and to L (96.7%) while in (3.3%) it was double. The middle cerebral artery was single to R and L (100%). Cerebroethmoidal artery to R and L (100%) with its collateral branch to single rostral cerebral artery (90%) to R and (86.7%) to L and double (10%) to R and (13.3%) to L. Ethmoidal artery to R and to L (100%) single. The cerebral arterial circle was rostrally and caudally opened, so that the cerebral blood supply was exclusively made by the carotid system.

In [A.-P. Grecianu, A. Kvaschuk, A. G. Myasnikov and D. Serbin, Groups acting on hyperbolic [Formula: see text]-metric spaces, Int. J. Algebra Comput. 25(6) (2015) 977–1042], the authors initiated a systematic study of hyperbolic [Formula: see text]-metric spaces, where [Formula: see text] is an ordered abelian group, and groups acting on such spaces. The present paper concentrates on the case [Formula: see text] taken with the right lexicographic order and studies the structure of finitely generated groups acting on hyperbolic [Formula: see text]-metric spaces. Under certain constraints, the structure of such groups is described in terms of a hierarchy (see [D. T. Wise, The Structure of Groups with a Quasiconvex Hierarchy[Formula: see text][Formula: see text]AMS-[Formula: see text], Annals of Mathematics Studies (Princeton University Press, 2021)]) similar to the one established for [Formula: see text]-free groups in [O. Kharlampovich, A. This paper presents a systematic study of the automorphism groups of those unary (universal) algebras whose carrier set G is the carrier set of some group ) and whose automorphism set contains the right translations of the latter group. These algebras appear, apart from the known classical contexts, repeatedly in characterization theorems of endomorphism semigroups (End) and automorphism groups (Aut) of algebras due to Grätzer (3; 4; 5), Makkai (7), Armbrust and Schmidt (1), Birkhoff (2), and others. Our main result (Theorem 1) constitutes an essential strengthening of a theorem of Birkhoff and represents the automorphism group of a unary algebra (where F is contained in the set of left translations of the group as wreath product of two groups that are easily determined from F and G.

Abstract: Judicial transparency represents one of the most important demands from the citizenship to Justice. From the institutions, as well as from Jurisprudence and Doctrine, the importance of this transparency has been repeatedly declared, however, until now, a deep and systematic study of it has not been carried out. That is why this text tries to delve into the concept of “judicial transparency” and set the terms for future studies and reforms. Thus, on the one hand, active transparency is analyzed −the publishing of information− and, on the other hand, passive transparency −the right of access to information−, all this distinguishing between information related to the General Council of the Judiciary or judicial information strictly talking. To end up, conclusions, which defend the need of reforms that broaden judicial transparency, so as not to leave it in simple words, are provided. Keywords: Active transparency, passive transparency, right of access, interested, accountability.

This makes it possible to provide services that meets user demands. The purpose of this research is to carry out a systematic study of management and monitoring on the cloud. Three facets were applied in conducting the categorization. These are the contribution, research, and topic facets. The purpose was to determine the level of work so far carried out in the field of cloud management. This enabled the creation of a pictorial representation of the research coverage. The result of the study showed that there are no opinion research on cloud management. Generally, articles on experience research, philosophical research and metric are the lowest at 6.62%, 4.41% and 1.90% respectively, while articles on models, solution research and evaluation research are the highest with 52.38%, 46.32% and 31.62% respectively. The outcome of this study will stimulate further research in the area cloud management and systematic studies.</span></span></p>

SummaryRecently, there has been a proliferation of international agreements imposing minimum standards on states in respect of their treatment of foreign investors and allowing investors to initiate dispute settlement proceedings where a state violates these standards. Of greatest significance to Canada is Chapter 11 of the North American Free Trade Agreement, which provides both standards for state behaviour and the right to initiate binding arbitration. Since 1996, four cases have been brought under Chapter 11. This note describes the Chapter 11 process and suggests some of the issues that may arise as it is increasingly resorted to by investors.

Abstract The target article carefully describes the memory system, centered on the temporal lobe that builds specific memory traces. It does not, however, mention the laterality effects that exist within this system. This commentary briefly surveys evidence showing that clear asymmetries exist within the temporal lobe structures subserving the core system and that the right temporal structures mainly underpin face familiarity feelings.
