The aim: The purpose of research is to improve the effectiveness of treatment by applying laser in complex treatment in patients with herpetic stomatitis. Materials and methods: Were examined 47 people (22 men and 25 women) with acute herpetic stomatitis. The patіents’ age was from 20 to 72 years. All patients underwent immunological tests such as (T-lymphocytes (CD3 +), T-helpers (CD4 +), cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CD8 +), the content of immunoglobulins IgM, IgG, IgA and slgA in saliva to assess the іmmunological reactivity of the organism. Results: Clinical observations have shown that when using laser therapy, the results of treatment were better than in the control group. Positive dynamics was observed as early as 1-2 days after the start of laser use and was more pronounced when used in the early stages of the disease. The use of the laser promoted a more rapid suspension of new lesions, a decrease in pain syndrome, and a more rapid regression of herpetic lesions. We have found significant improvements in the arameters of cellular and humoral іmmunity in patients of the main group. Conclusions: Treatment of herpetic stomatitis is relevant and requires further improvement and the search for new methods. The use of a laser in the complex treatment of herpetic stomatitis has a positive effect on the course and іmmunological status of patients with herpetic stomatіtis. The manifestations of the disease healed faster, and the pain syndrome was less severe. Duration between іllness and treatment decreased on 19.7% and 26%. It is advіsable to include the method of treatment using a laser in the complex therapy of herpetic stomatitis.

A clinical study of the effectiveness correction occlusive disorders and treatment of generalized periodontitis moderate severity using the local laser and the anti-inflammatory therapy. 79 patients were treated with periodontitis moderate having occlusive disorders. It was revealed that the administration use of laser therapy reduces treatment time and leads to a rapid relief of periodontal inflammation.

Background. Infantile hemangiomas are revealed in 1-3% of newborns and 10-12% of infants. There are only anecdotal reports on the laser therapy efficacy in this pathology management. However, there is no common approach to the use of this method in the complex treatment of infantile hemangioma in infants. Clinical Cases Description. Two clinical cases of infantile hemangioma are presented. Patients underwent complex treatment: systemic propranolol and laser therapy via pulsed dye laser. Laser exposure modes ware selected individually: laser spot sizes were 10 and 12 mm, energy levels were 5-10 J/cm2, burst duration was short (0.45 ms) or long (10-20 ms), procedure duration was from 15 to 40 minutes, number of procedures varied from 1 to 8. Laser therapy has shown its efficacy in treatment of superficial infantile hemangioma. Conclusion. The indication for using laser therapy in management of infants with hemangiomas is especially persistent residual signs such as telangiectasias and erythema after spontaneous or drug involution phase. Laser therapy allows us to avoid aggressive methods and improves the quality of life of our patients according to this article.

Background. Acne scar formation is a common consequence of acne vulgaris, in most cases atrophic scars resulting from tissue loss caused by inflammation of the pilosebial units. Aims: To study the effectiveness of combined laser therapy with Nd:YAG laser and Er: YAG laser with autologous plasma with cells in patients with different phenotypes of post-acne atrophic scars. Materials and methods. Depending on the method of treatment of post-acne scars, the patients were divided into 2 groups: Group 1 (n=28) with ice pick scars 10 patients; boxcar 9 patients; rolling 9 patients and group 1 (n=30) among them with ice pick scars 10; boxcar 9; rolling 11 patients. In group 1A, phototherapy was performed using a combination of Nd:YAG laser and Er:YAG laser. Immediately after laser exposure, autologous plasma was applied to the skin of the face of group 1B patients. To assess the effectiveness, the Manchester scale of assessment of scar deformities was used. The effectiveness was also evaluated using the Global Aesthetic Scale (GAIS) on a 3-point system. In this study, cutometry and ultrasound were performed to assess the elasticity of the skin in the foci of atrophy. Results. The indicator "color" on the MSS scale improved in the 1st group by 54.8%, in the 2nd by 83.7%, the indicator "texture" by 57.1 and 78.1%, the indicator "relief" by 43.8 and 66.7%, the indicator "displacement" by 54.9 and 82.1%, respectively. There were no patients with a deterioration or lack of effect on the GAIS scale in any of the study groups. According to the ultrasound scan data, the greatest effectiveness was observed in the group of complex treatment . Conclusion. Complex treatment, including the use of combined laser therapy (erbium and neodymium lasers) and autologous plasma with cells, is a highly effective technique for the treatment of atrophic post-acne scars.

Backgraund: Secondary osteoarthritis (OA) adversely affects an underlying disease and can enhance clinical manifestations of articular syndrome. Early detection of comorbid pathology and early treatment with the therapy of underlying condition is of primary importance to preserve adequate functional activity in patients. The Aims to analyze the efficacy of the use of inhibitor of interleukin -1 in the complex treatment of secondary OA in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Materials and methods: 248 patients with secondary OA in RA were divided in 4 groups: patients of group I (n=62) took inhibitor of interleukin-1 (50mg x 2 times per day) in combination with laser therapy on the basis of methotrexate (10-20 mg per week), group II (n=60) received inhibitor of interleukin-1 in complex with methotrexate, in group III (n=62)-laser therapy with methotrexate and in group 4 – methotrexate. The analysis of treatment efficacy we estimated in 3 and 6 months according to the dynamics of pain on VAS, indexes HAQ and KOOS. Results: group 1 showed statistical significant reduction of pain on VAS on movement after 3 and 6 months on 28,53 mm (43,6%) and 31,3 мм (48%) accordingly, to values 36,87±1,56* и 33,11±1,11* (p0,05). It was noted the statistical significant advantages of HAQ dynamics in group I in comparison with groups II, III, IV (p=0,03). The most prominent statistical significant (p=0,02) significant advantages according to the dynamics of index KOOS it was noted in groups of patients who took diacerein (I and II) after 6 months complex treatment. Conclusions: the involvement of inhibitor of interleukin -1 in the complex treatment of secondary OA in patients with RA contributes to clinical improvement according to VAS (p=0,03), index KOOS, that shows functional condition of the knee and increase the quality of life by index HAQ (p=0,03) after 6 months therapy.

Material and methods. Twenty-two patients with compression-ischemic neuropathy were included into the study. Low-level laser device “ALOK-1” was used for laser therapy. Its beam impacts tissues directly; its power is 1 mW, wavelength – 0.63 μm, spot diameter – 0.8 mkm.Results. Subjective, objective and instrumental findings became significantly better, if to compare with the pre-operative period.Conclusion. The developed technique has shown its good efficiency. The intraoperative laser therapy CIN patients decreased the severity of symptoms up to their complete regression; patients were highly satisfied with their postoperative outcomes.
