Memristive behavior has been clearly addressed through growth and shrinkage of thin filaments in metal-oxide junctions. Capacitance change has also been observed, raising the possibility of using them as memcapacitors. Therefore, this paper proves that metal-oxide junctions can behave as a memcapacitor element by analyzing its characteristics and modeling its memristive and memcapacitive behaviors. We develop two behavioral modeling techniques: charge-dependent memcapacitor model and voltage-dependent memcapacitor model. A new physical model for metal-oxide junctions is presented based on conducting filaments variations, and its effect on device capacitance and resistance. In this model, we apply the exponential nature of growth and shrinkage of thin filaments and use Simmons’ tunneling equation to calculate the tunneling current. Simulation results show how the variations of practical device parameters can change the device behavior. They clarify the basic conditions for building a memcapacitor device with negligible change in resistance.

Analysis of distributed energy systems (DESs) is more challenging, as multiple energy sources are connected with different loads through power electronics converters. Modeling and simulation become an essential step during the design stage, prior to actual implementation. These DESs comprised numerous converters in various configurations, e.g., parallel and cascade. This paper presents behavioral modeling technique for interconnected converters that can be used to predict dynamics of overall system. First models are developed for two converters in parallel and cascade configuration using direct approach (DA). The model derivation using DA becomes too complex for larger systems. A new transformation-based approach (TBA) is proposed, which, unlike DA, is simple and can easily be extended to model [Formula: see text] interconnected converters. In this method, the measured [Formula: see text]-parameter set is transformed to another domain, equivalent model is computed simply by the addition or multiplication of transformed [Formula: see text]-parameters and then the equivalent model is transformed back to [Formula: see text]-parameter set. The modeling techniques are implemented in Matlab/Simulink. The results from DA and TBA are compared, and their close agreement suggests that the new TBA can be used for the analysis of interconnected systems, comprised of multiple parallel and cascade converters.

Two Stages

Addiction to online games is an excessive behavior to play online games that have an impact on the formation of maladaptive behavior, not in accordance with the norms prevailing in the community. Counseling behavioral modeling techniques is one of the services that are considered appropriate to overcome online game addiction problems. The purpose of this study is to determine whether counseling behavioral modeling techniques can be applied to overcome online game addiction in children aged 10 years. The type of research used by researchers is the type of single subject research, using the A-B research design (A = baseline condition, B = intervention condition). A-B shows two stages of design; A is baseline data (pretest) and B is intervention (posttest). The results showed that behavioral counseling modeling techniques were effective for reducing online game addiction in children aged 10 years.

Using the traditional method of calculating the dynamic balance of mechanical design optimization, the efficiency is not high and the calculation process is complex, and it’s also prone to miscalculation. Pro/E behavior modeling allows designers greater control over the size of components to meet design requirements. In this article, the author try to solve a typical problem of balancing mechanical part through the use of Pro/E behavior modeling techniques. A new research and practice of Pro/E module to optimize the design of behavioral modeling is explored and practised.
