Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan, tentang pengaruh penerapan stategi pembelajaran card sort terhadap hasil belajar biologi peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Majene.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Majene tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Dari 4 kelas X IPA, dipilih dua kelas yakni X IPA-3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan X IPA-2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar biologi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-post test control group design.Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial. Hasil analisis statistika deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran card sort diperoleh nilai mean 2, 840 dengan standar deviasi 1,640. Sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar tanpa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran card sort diperoleh nilai mean 1, 640 dengan standar deviasi 1,036.Hasil analisis statistika inferensial menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Majene yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran card sort lebih baik daripada yang diajar tanpa menggunakan card sort pada materi pelestarian lingkungan karena setelah dilakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t, maka diperoleh t hitung kelas eksperimen 12,389 ? t tabel 3,745 dan t hitung kelas kontrol 7,915 ? t tabel 3,745 berarti hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.Kata kunci : Strategi Pembelajaran Card Sort, Hasil Belajar Biologi.

Background: Food is one of the basic important of human needs. Since the mid-20th century, the role of food additives, particularly preservatives are becoming increasingly important in line with advances in production technology of synthetic BTP (food additives). The use of BTP often adverse effects on health. Some of the causes were the use of non-organic materials due to economic reasons. The lower public's knowledge about quality and safety of food led to rampant cases of food poisoning. This compounded with various kinds of food additives (BTP) are derived from chemical products and its derivatives. Cracker was one of snack that much-loved by the majority of Indonesian people. On making of Crackers both the traditional and the modern are often added borax as a food additive that was felt to be more savory crackers and crunchy. This research aimed to examine the influence of counseling with audio-visual method on the improvement of knowledge and attitude of use borax on making gendar crackers family households in Kategan, Patalan, Jetis, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Methods: This research used quasi experiment type with the design of one group pretest - posttest. The samples were housewives in the Kategan, Patalan, Jetis, Bantul. Results: There was a difference of housewife’s knowledge in Kategan on the use of borax on making gendar crackers between before and after counseling with audio-visual methods which seen by a mean value of 6.64 pre-test and 6.92 for post-test average with -1.238 as mean difference. Based on the results of Wilcoxon test obtained p-value of 0.216 (H0 was accepted). While the mean, obtained on the attitude of the pre-test of 10.28 and the mean of post-test of 11.19 with a mean difference of -2.018. The p-value was 0.044 (H0 was rejected). Conclusion: There was no effect of counseling with the use of audio-visual methods in use of borax on making gendar crackers on the knowledge. Whereas there was influence of counseling with the use of audio-visual methods in the use of borax on making gendar crackers on the attitude. Keywords: knowledge, attitudes, audio visual, borax

The problem found by researcher in class V (B) MIN 23 Aceh Besar is that students are less interested in learning Arabic and make students not active in learning, so mastery in the vocabulary is low, as well the teacher does not use varied media in the learning process. Because of that the researcher tries to overcome these problems with applying cards sort media to improve students’ ability is mastering the vocabulary. The purposes of this research are to identify the effectiveness and student’s responses the application of card sort media to improve ability in mastering the vocabulary. The research method used by researcher is a pre experiment with “one group pre-test and post-test” design, and for data collection, the research used test and questionnaire. The researcher used percentage to analyze student’s responses and the T test to obtain the value of effectiveness. The results of T test to show that the application of card sort media is effective to improve the ability of students in mastering the vocabulary. The result of (T-Test) (-6.077) and the level of significance (sig) which the results. (.000) obtained meaning smaller than the value of the provisions (0.000) < (0.05).  And  the result of questionnaire showed that the students’ responses to the vocabulary learning by using card sort media is at a high level of 3,67.

One of the physical changes during pregnancy is their breasts that usually get larger and heavier, the areola mammae becomes darker and the nipples get bigger. These conditions cause the breasts need to be treated in preparation for exclusive breastfeeding. However, in reality, there are many pregnant women who have not done much breast care due to their ignorance of its importance and lack of information. The aimed this study was to identify the effective of audio-visual and demonstration method for improving knowledge, attitude, and skills of breast care among pregnant women in Aceh. This study was used a pre-test post-test design with a control group (37 of pregnant women) and intervention group (36 of pregnant women). The intervention group was given health education about breast care using demonstration method, while the control group was given by watching videos. The instruments used in this study was a questionnaire about breast care and checklist to assess breast care skill. The instruments was developed based on the existing theory. Data was analyzed using t-independent test (p<0.05). There were significantly difference of knowledge (72.83 + 8.48 vs. 45.43 +12.06), attitudes (58.76 +6.20 vs. 46.83 + 4.58), and skill (73.74 + 7.98 vs. 56.17+ 10.62) of breast care between intervention and control group among pregnants women (P<0.001). Furthermore, the scores of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of breast care among pregnant women using demonstration (intervention groups) method were more higher compared pregnant women using audio-visual method (control groups). Health education using demonstration method is more effective for improving knowledge, attitudes, and skills of breast care among pregnant women than audio visual method. Therefore, demonstrations and re-demonstration using guideline should be implement for women with guidance during pregnant.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of picture card games technique toward students’ vocabulary mastery. The participant was all the fifth year students of SD N 99 Kota Bengkulu that consisted of 68 students, the students divided into two classes, namely class VA and VB. The sample were the two classes which 34 students in each class. The students were divided into two groups, the experimental and the control groups. The experimental group received treatment by using card games techniques, while the control group was taught by using conventional technique. The pre-test was given to the two groups before giving the treatment. It found that there was no significant between the two groups in vocabulary mastery before giving the treatment. However, after giving the treatment, post-test was given and it found that there was a significant difference between the two groups. It can be concluded that card games technique gave positive effect toward the students’ English vocabulary mastery of SD N 99 Kota Bengkulu.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Card Sort terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One-Group pretest-posttest Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Card Sort memperoleh rata-rata nilai pre-test 41 sedangkan hasil post-test 93,5. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar tematik pada tema Keluargaku subtema Keluarga Besarku Kelas Iyang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode Card Sortlebih tinggi dibanding dengan pembelajaran dengan cara biasa (konvensional) dimana hasil perhitungan statistiknya menunjukkan ( yaitu 1,882,15). Oleh karena itu, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode Card Sort terhadap hasil belajar tematik pada tema keluargaku subtema keluarga besarku

This research aimed to know by using Card Sort can improve students’ vocabulary at students of MTsN Parepare. Generally the use of media as teaching aid mainly aimed at increasing the teaching process to be more motivating and interesting. This research was conducted in MTsN Parepare. Researcher used quantitative study in the form of Pre – Experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. There are independent variable and dependent variable. Random sampling is the technique to take the sample and VIII.5 is the samples which consist with 26 students. The instrument that used is test, observation and documentation. The result calculation of mean score pre-test of students was 52.31 and mean score post- test of students was 65.57. The result of this research showed there was significant different in statistical analysis where the statistical t-test (2.7) was higher than t-table (1,708) with degree freedom (df = N-1) 25. The  researcher concluded  the  using  of  Card  Sort  is  able  to  improve  students’ vocabulary. From  15 questionnaires, the students answered very positive. Based on the Likert scale, the students were very positive in learning English by using Card Sort. It means that the Card Sort media makes students have positive response toward in learning vocabulary. The cumulative percentage on the fifteen items of the positive statements questionnaire was 96,62, while the cumulative score that they got from the questionnaire was 1633. The researcher concluded the using of Card Sort is able to improve students’ vocabulary at MTsN Parepare

Adolescence is a developmental stage from the transition to adulthood. A cognitive problem that affects adolescence namely the lack of knowledge about reproductive health. The purpose of this study was to explain the effectiveness of health education using audio-visual methods on students' knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a quasi-experimental design. The results obtained from the 75 respondents who filled out the questionnaire showed that the attitude of the students on the pre-test score was 60,00 and the post-test was 63,45, whereas the students' knowledge on the pre-test score was 15,89 and the post-test is 17,20. From the results of the research carried out with the Wilcoxon test that the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is worth 0,0001 where the value is less than <0.005, therefore the hypothesis was accepted. Using audiovisual media is that it will add more real material content and will increase memory retention due to media that is much interesting and easy to remember by the individual, factors that can influence knowledge and attitudes related to reproductive and sexual health in adolescents are knowledge, attitudes and the individual's environment in processing the information obtained. Therefore there is a significant effect of health education with audiovisual methods on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents related to reproductive and sexual health.

This research was aimed at knowing the effectiveness of the card-sort method in teaching EFL writing. The writing was focused on descriptive text. The researchers used two groups of pre-test post-test experimental research design. The subject of this research was the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 24 Bintan. In this research, the researchers chose two classes, experimental and control classes, consist of 34 students by applying the purposive sampling technique. Writing test was used to gather the data needed. Based on the result of the statistic calculation, the result of the pre-test of the experimental class was 49 and the control class was 54 while the result of post-test was 70 for the experimental class and 64 for the control class. The tcount was 4.881 with significant level 0.05. Based on the data analysis, the researchers concluded that sig 0.000 < 0.05 which meant there was the effect of the card-sort method in teaching EFL writing.
