The application of analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to the risk analysis of port construction project was investigated. Firstly, the happening probabilities of various risk factors during port construction were calculated. Secondly, the aftereffects of the risks were concluded by consulting the experts. Thirdly, the weight of each risk factor was obtained by AHP. Finally, the total risk of port construction project could be evaluated by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. This risk analysis method was applied to evaluate the total risk of a real port construction project, and the exemplification verified its feasibility.

Based on the matter-element extension model, this paper first builds a set of reasonable power quality evaluation index system, and then determines the index value through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), and finally makes a comprehensive evaluation of power supply quality. With an example based on, this paper will prove the feasibility of matter-extension model supplied in power quality evaluation.

Recognizing and evaluating the development level of a country’s precise finishing industry, is the prerequisite to the country’s decision-making on the development planning and guiding policies in this industry. This paper presents a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) Model on the base of “Expert Knowledge”. This model combines the advantages of Fuzzy Evaluation Method and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and can give relatively reliable evaluation results with incomplete information of the evaluation criteria. The application of the FAHP Model provide reliable comprehensive evaluation data.

This paper presents three models as a potential decision making method for selecting the best baseball, field hockey, and women’s basketball NCAA Division I coaches. Five indicators, synthesized coaching efficiency, winning percentage, consecutive championship, achievement index and gender, are introduced to give a comprehensive evaluation of coaching ability. The preliminary served as a filter model to screen out less capable coaches and a robust ranking within top 10 is achieved. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model takes the time line horizon into consideration, and helps find less efficient coaches. By comparing the first two models, we obtain a reasonable assessment of coaches from different time period. Finally, by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), minor changes in judgment matrices can be made to adjust the ratio of male to female in the top 5 coaches.

AbstractIn order to create a city clean, efforts are taken by government including provision of waste processing system facility as part of waste management system. Recently, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province has 3 alternatives of waste processing system to be applied, namely: utilizing the existing regional final disposal site (TPA) of Bangli, building a new TPA facility dedicated for Klungkung area only, and on-site waste processing facility (TOSS). The study aims to determine the most optimal of waste processing system by considering 4 criteria, namely environment, economic, social and technical (multicriteria analysis) with the help of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Each criterion having several sub criterions were assessed by 35 respondents representing 5 local government’s institutions by applying pair wise comparison. The asessement were also performed to evaluate the alternatives to the given criteria and sub criterion. In global, respondents preferred to put environmental pollution prevention (weight of 0.16) as the most important among total 13 sub criterions available. Among the criteria, environment (weight of 0.543) was more prioritized than social (0.181), economic (0.146) and technical (0.130) aspects. Other result showed that TOSS (total value of 0.47) was more preferred than existing TPA of Bangli (0.28), and new TPA of Klungkung (0.25). An alternative of waste processing with its advantages and disadvantages should be chosen and acceptable by the related stakeholders, thus the facility becomes part of sustainable waste management system in a city.

The increasingly competitive industrial competition makes companies from all sectors around the world change the system to be more efficient and effective. One of the efforts to improve the company is by implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Lately, many large companies are implementing Auto-ID (automatic identification) technology to solve existing problems. The types of Auto-ID technology that are often used are barcode, RFID and QR code technology. PT AKG is a manufacturing company that produces and markets plastic finished materials to serve the needs of other companies has not yet implemented WMS, this causes human error due to the process still manual. This research proposed to find the best warehouse management system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for PT. AKG. Alternative systems in this study are barcode, RFID, and QR code with the criteria used are cost, fuctionality, performance, and sustainability. Based on the results, the system chosen is the QR code with a score of 0.578084. QR codes can make it easier for operators and PPIC department staff to take notes and minimize recording errors. Recording that originally used Microsoft Excel and paper as a tool is no longer needed because operators only need to scan using a smartphone that is connected to the company's warehouse management system.

There is all kinds of risk consisting in every logistic transportation link of construction because of the bigger construction transportation district and the more complex transportation goods, a wide variety, quantity, and so on. Any question in a single of earlier link happened will affect accuracy, security and timeliness of indicator. This paper constructs evaluation index system and evaluation module by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation(FCE).

This work, in view of the features of strong gas zone heterogeneity in Multi-Layer Sandstone Gas Reservoir (MLSGR), develops a methodology on Comprehensive Evaluation of Gas Zone (CEGZ). By using of the methodology, three grade gas zone classified score bounds were transformed from three grade field production capacity classified criteria by utilizing multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method in terms of analytical hierarchy process and comprehensive scores, and CEGZ of 13236 well-layers in Sebei MLSGR, Qaidam basin were fulfilled successfully, which lays the geologic foundations for subsequent balanced and fine exploitation of Sebei MLSGR, and validates the applicability and reliability of this methodology synchronously.
