High growth rates of natural resources consumption in recent years, pollution of the environment contribute to the development of theories regarding the future provision of natural resources on the Earth. Thepurpose of the article is to study the concept of sustainable development and the need for its introductioninto economic activity, definition of ideas influencing the modern concept of the circular economy. The concept of stable development and circular economy is analyzed, common features and differences are defined.It has been established that the circular economy is a prerequisite and driver of the fourth industrial revolution. The basis of the circular economy are closed supply chains. They combine the usual processes of adirect supply chain with reverse logistics processes, ranging from product recovery, disassembly and reuseof individual parts.

Reverse logistics is becoming more important in overall industry area owing to the environmental and economic factors. Planning and building a reasonable reverse logistics system could bring more profit, customer satisfaction and a nice social picture for companies. The energy-intensive industry is an important part of Chinas industry. We try to construct a reverse logistics system of the energy-intensive industries with the perspective of circular economy in this paper, which aims to reduce resources consumption and environmental pollution, and to promote economical, social and ecological environment development.

Asia is changing rapidly. Realizing the nature of change, Asia can influence the value of change to the world. At the same time, digital technology is transforming the economic and business world. In the logistics industry, not only digitalization, but the circular economy is also disrupting. However, there is great potential for the logistics business to develop efficiency opportunities through reverse logistics. Asia has a chance to spread the value of reverse logistics as one form of a circular economy. Asia has opportunities also to bring the value of reverse logistics into halal industry. This chapter will show empirical studies from several leading companies based in Asia that implementing reverse logistics and halal logistics. All of them reinforces the opportunity of Asia's leadership to influence the reverse logistics values to the world. Through blockchain, Asia may lead the reverse logistics in the age of digital transformation for circular economy and halal logistics.
