Roller-mark is a common problem in offset printing and its solution method is important for printing. A new detecting method of texture analysis was given in this paper. In this study, printing image was acquired with high-speed CCD. Compared the difference between printing image and standard image, a defective image was obtained. Then the reason of roller-marks was given by the texture recognition of defect image. Finally, experiments were taken to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of this new method for the roller-marks diagnosis in the offset printing machine.

A fault detection problem in a process control experimental system with unknown factors is presented in this paper. The fault detecting method is based on blind system identification approach. The experimental system actuator output includes unknown dynamics and unknown fault signal. By using the fault detecting method, the fault signal is detected. Simulation results for the experimental process are presented to show the effectiveness.

For multi-dimensional (M-D) signal and data processing systems, transformation of algorithmic specifications is a major instrument both in code optimization and code generation for parallelizing compilers and in control flow optimization as a preprocessor for architecture synthesis. State-of-the-art transformation techniques are limited to affine index expressions. This is however not sufficient for many important applications in image, speech and numerical processing. In this paper, a novel transformation method is introduced, oriented to the subclass of algorithm specifications that contains modulo expressions of affine functions to index M-D signals. The method employs extensively the concept of Hermite normal form. The transformation method can be carried out in polynomial time, applying only integer arithmetic.

A detecting method for toxic flame retardant finishing agent tris-(2,3-dibromopropyl) -phosphate (TRIS for short) in textiles was studied. In the method, an acetonitrile ultrasound-assisted extraction process was included in sample pre-treatment, and HPLC/DAD was used in the separation and identification of extractives. After that, the conditions of pre-treatment and chromatograph were optimized. The results showed that the limit of detection (LOD) by this method (S/N10) is 1.0 mg/kg, its recovery ranged from 78.1% to 98.4%, and RSD of the precision test is 3.2%, of which all met the requirements for routine testing.
