Microstrip patch antenna has made great progress in recent years. Wireless application including radars, cellulars phones, wireless sensor networks, and in medical applications are used in microstrip patch antenna. The proposed antenna used for double inset feeding technique with the generation of millimeter-wave Hermite-Gaussian (HG) beams at HG11 in feeding network. Relative permittivity of 3.75 and loss tangent of 0.018, designed antennas are si,ulated on a high performance of FR4 substrate. To simulate the proposed antennas are used by the ADS Momentum software. The usage of ADS Momentum is various parameters for instance S11 Parameter, return losses, directivity and gain of the proposed antennas are also obtained using ADS momentum.

Abstract For any wireless communication, the antenna plays a very important role. The request for this technology is reduced antenna size, weight, and cost with a low profile, high performance, and low return loss (RL). To meet these requirements, the microstrip patch antenna (MPA) can be used. This research represents the design and manufacture of the MPA for the 2.4 GHz applications with very low RL and perfect voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). Computer simulation technology (CST) studio is used to design and simulation. The proposed MPA is fabricated on flame retardant (FR-4) material as a substrate. The results show that the MPA is capable to deal with RL of -38.86 dB at the frequency of 2.393 GHz with a bandwidth (BW) of 58 MHz and VSWR of 1.02. The volume of the antenna is 75.85 × 57.23 × 1.6 mm 3.

A directional bended microstrip patch antenna was designed for dual-band ISM applications. CST (2014) was used to simulate an antenna with the dimension of 50 x 20 x 1.04 mm and felt substrate with partial copper ground. This antenna was operated at 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz with gains of 1.6 dBi and 5.61 dBi and bandwidths of 40% and 75%. The proposed antenna was bended to cater the human body curves. The proposed bended structure gave a high performance in free space, and the results were found identical with the phantom simulation results. This antenna is deemed suitable to be built in clothes for WBNs applications.
