Abstract This study aims to develop and produce a three-tier test digital instrument to identify misconceptions in the concept of fluid statics. This research is categorized as research development. Stages of development used is stages according to Van den Akker, consisting of (1) preliminary study, (2) prototyping stage, (3) summative evaluation, and (4) systematic reflection and documentation. The study was conducted at four high schools in South Jakarta. This development research produce 17 items of three-tier test instrument digital on Google Form in concept of fluid statics, misconception analysis, and usage instructions. Three-tier test developed is effective because have content validity (CVI = 0,9), contruct validity (r = 0,6), and item validity (r> 0.4). Based on the research stage, the digital test instrument has practical and ready to be implemented. Acceptance of teachers and students of the three-tier digital instrument test gives  positive response, acceptability of 100% for teachers and 66.7% for students. Keywords: three-tier test; misconception; fluid statics; digital instrument; research development Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan instrumen digital three-tier test untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi pada konsep fluida statis. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian pengembangan. Tahapan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah tahapan menurut Van den Akker, yang terdiri dari (1) penelitian pendahuluan, (2) tahap prototipe, (3) evaluasi sumatif, dan (4) refleksi sistematik serta dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di 4 SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan instrumen three-tier test menggunakan Google Form sebanyak 17 butir soal pada konsep fluida statis, analisator miskonsepsi dan petunjuk pengguaan. Instrumen yang dikembangkan efektif karena memenuhi validitas konten (CVI = 0,9), validitas konstruksi (r = 0,6), dan validitas butir soal (r > 0,4). Berdasarkan tahapan penelitian, instrumen tes digital sudah praktis dan siap diimplementasikan. Penerimaan guru dan siswa terhadap instrumen digital three-tier test memberikan respon yang positif, dengan penerimaan 100% untuk guru dan 66,7% untuk siswa dari responden yang diwawancarai. In the past, the instrument in the test station is usually using analogy technology, the testing and inspecting with the device executed with discrete and isolated way, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness, the digital instrument of radial direction preciseness for round shape part is designed and composed based on Labview in this research. The mechanic section of this instrument is an inspection device, the acquisition section use the acquisition module of NI, the software of the instrument is developed with Labview. The instrument is fitted to apply in the shop floor of factory.

This study aims to develop a performance assessment instrument for Make up Training Subject in Beauty Education Program by appropriate validity and reliability procedure in thedevelopment of the assessment instrument as the assessment process and products. Thisresearch is a development research (R&D). The research focuses on the development ofassessment instrument for Makeup Training Subject. The aspects of research, data sources, techniques and instruments/data collection instrument, and validation and reliability of theinstrument used in the study conducted by interview, observation, and literature and documents.The data of this study is quantitative data, which was statistically analyzed due to relevant empirical testing (validation of instruments) that includes testing and content validity andinternal validity. Descriptive analyzes were undertaken to describe the research data. The results showed: 1) The design of the instrument Makeup Training Subject are developed through theneeds analysis. It is done through literature review and study of the course competencies byengaging a team of researchers. This study resulted in the instrument guidelines and assessment instrument completed with its scoring rubrics. The instrument comprising: a step of validityassessment is done through the stages: experts judgment, empirical tests to prove the validityand reliability of the instruments assessment. School is a space where learning mathematics should be accompanied by the student’s preferences; however, its valuation in the classroom is not necessarily the same. From a quantitative approach, we ask from the mathematical thinking styles (MTS) theory about the correlations between preferences of certain MTS and mathematical performance. For this, a valid test instrument and a sample of 275 16-year-old Chilean students were used to gain insight into their preferences, beliefs and emotions when solving mathematical tasks and when learning mathematics. The results show, among other things, a clear positive correlation between mathematical performance and analytical thinking style, and also evidence the correlation between self-efficacy, analytical thinking and grades. It is concluded that students who prefer the analytical style are more advantageous in school, since the evaluation processes have a higher valuation of analytic mathematical thinking.
