We construct exact many-body eigenstates of both energy and angular momentum for the N-anyon problem in an external magnetic field. We show that such states span the full ground state eigenspace and arise as correlation functions of Fubini-Veneziano vertex operators of string theory.

The effect of the Coulomb interaction in interlayer magnetoresistance is elucidated in collaboration with theory and experiments for the Dirac electron system in organic conductor α -(BEDT-TTF) 2 I 3 under a strong magnetic field. It is found that the effective g-factor enhanced by Coulomb interaction depends on the angle of the magnetic field, resulting in the field-angle dependence of a characteristic magnetic field in which interlayer resistance has a minimum due to spin splitting N = 0 Landau levels. The qualitative agreement between the theory and experimental results for the field-angle dependence of interlayer magnetoresistance is obtained.

Wave-number dependence of the static screening function of an interacting electron gas. I. Lowest-order Hartree–Fock corrections

The lowest-order Hartree–Fock contributions to the zero frequency screening function are examined for an interacting electron gas in its ground state. Computational methods are developed to treat singularities associated with the bare coulomb interaction and vanishing energy denominators of the many-body perturbation expansion. Numerical results are given. The wave-number dependence in the intermediate (k ~ kF) range differs considerably from that of previous estimates.
