Abstract The elliptic algebras in the title are connected graded $\mathbb {C}$ -algebras, denoted $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ , depending on a pair of relatively prime integers $n>k\ge 1$ , an elliptic curve E and a point $\tau \in E$ . This paper examines a canonical homomorphism from $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ to the twisted homogeneous coordinate ring $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ on the characteristic variety $X_{n/k}$ for $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ . When $X_{n/k}$ is isomorphic to $E^g$ or the symmetric power $S^gE$ , we show that the homomorphism $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau ) \to B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ is surjective, the relations for $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ are generated in degrees $\le 3$ and the noncommutative scheme $\mathrm {Proj}_{nc}(Q_{n,k}(E,\tau ))$ has a closed subvariety that is isomorphic to $E^g$ or $S^gE$ , respectively. When $X_{n/k}=E^g$ and $\tau =0$ , the results about $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ show that the morphism $\Phi _{|\mathcal {L}_{n/k}|}:E^g \to \mathbb {P}^{n-1}$ embeds $E^g$ as a projectively normal subvariety that is a scheme-theoretic intersection of quadric and cubic hypersurfaces.

In this paper we study consequences of the results of Kang et al. [Monoidal categorification of cluster algebras, J. Amer. Math. Soc. 31 (2018), 349–426] on a monoidal categorification of the unipotent quantum coordinate ring $A_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ together with the Laurent phenomenon of cluster algebras. We show that if a simple module $S$ in the category ${\mathcal{C}}_{w}$ strongly commutes with all the cluster variables in a cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$, then $[S]$ is a cluster monomial in $[\mathscr{C}]$. If $S$ strongly commutes with cluster variables except for exactly one cluster variable $[M_{k}]$, then $[S]$ is either a cluster monomial in $[\mathscr{C}]$ or a cluster monomial in $\unicode[STIX]{x1D707}_{k}([\mathscr{C}])$. We give a new proof of the fact that the upper global basis is a common triangular basis (in the sense of Qin [Triangular bases in quantum cluster algebras and monoidal categorification conjectures, Duke Math. 166 (2017), 2337–2442]) of the localization $\widetilde{A}_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ of $A_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ at the frozen variables. A characterization on the commutativity of a simple module $S$ with cluster variables in a cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$ is given in terms of the denominator vector of $[S]$ with respect to the cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$.

Abstract The cluster algebra of any acyclic quiver can be realized as the coordinate ring of a subvariety of a Kac–Moody group—the quiver is an orientation of its Dynkin diagram, defining a Coxeter element and thereby a double Bruhat cell. We use this realization to connect representations of the quiver with those of the group. We show that cluster variables of preprojective (resp. postinjective) quiver representations are realized by generalized minors of highest-weight (resp. lowest-weight) group representations, generalizing results of Yang–Zelevinsky in finite type. In type $A_{n}^{\!(1)}$ and finitely many other affine types, we show that cluster variables of regular quiver representations are realized by generalized minors of group representations that are neither highest- nor lowest-weight; we conjecture this holds more generally.

AbstractNew trigonometric and rational solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation (QYBE) are obtained by applying some singular gauge transformations to the known Belavin-Drinfeld elliptic R-matrix for sl(2;?). These solutions are shown to be related to the standard ones by the quasi-Hopf twist. We demonstrate that the quantum algebras arising from these new R-matrices can be obtained as special limits of the Sklyanin algebra. A representation for these algebras by the difference operators is found. The sl(N;?)-case is discussed.

AbstractWe complete the calculation of the twisted cyclic homology of the quantised coordinate ring = ℂq [SL(2)] of SL(2) that we began in [14]. In particular, a nontrivial cyclic 3-cocycle is constructed which also has a nontrivial class in Hochschild cohomology and thus should be viewed as a noncommutative geometry analogue of a volume form.

AbstractLet G be a finite reflection group acting in a complex vector space V = ℂr, whose coordinate ring will be denoted by S. Any element γ ∈ GL(V) which normalises G acts on the ring SG of G-invariants. We attach invariants of the coset Gγ to this action, and show that if G′ is a parabolic subgroup of G, also normalised by γ, the invariants attaching to G′γ are essentially the same as those of Gγ. Four applications are given. First, we give a generalisation of a result of Springer-Stembridge which relates the module structures of the coinvariant algebras of G and G′ and secondly, we give a general criterion for an element of Gγ to be regular (in Springer’s sense) in invariant-theoretic terms, and use it to prove that up to a central element, all reflection cosets contain a regular element. Third, we prove the existence in any well-generated group, of analogues of Coxeter elements of the real reflection groups. Finally, we apply the analysis to quotients of G which are themselves reflection groups.
