Twenty-one species are newly described in the New Guinea Hydroptilidae, in two tribes, Hydroptilini and Orthotrichiini, subfamily Hydroptilinae. Recorded for the first time from New Guinea are Oxyethira Eaton, Hellyethira Neboiss, Ugandatrichia Mosely, and Tricholeiochiton Kloet & Hincks, as well as new species in Hydroptila Dalman and Orthotrichia Eaton. Interest centres on unique aspects of the fauna, including a new monotypic genus, Missitrichia, gen. nov., and several species in Hellyethira with unusually asymmetric male genitalia; relationships and possible origins of these and other components of the New Guinea Hydroptilidae are discussed. Keys to adult males and larvae are presented and a checklist of New Guinea hydroptilids is appended.

The male genitalia of the genus Metaselena Diak. are described and illustrated for the first time, and as a result of that the genus is transferred to the Olethreutinae. Eight new species of Metaselena - lepta, rhabdota, symphylos, pemphigodes, pithana, platyptera, diakonoffi and allophlebodes - are described and illustrated. The systematic position of Metaselena, so far known only from Australia and New Guinea, is briefly discussed and the close association of the genus with Eucosmomorpha Obr. is pointed out.

The Hepialidae species of Trinidad and Tobago are documented and two species are recognized. The new and monotypic genus Wallacella, gen. n., (Lepidoptera, Hepialidae) is erected to include Phassus guianensis Schaus of Guyana (Wallacella guianensis, comb. n.). The male holotype and genitalia are also illustrated for the first time. Potential generic affinities with Druceiella (Viette) and Pfitzneriana (Viette) are considered. Gymelloxes juliusboosi sp. n. is described from Trinidad and Tobago and compared to its congeneric species. The sternite VIII and male genitalia are diagnostic for this new species. The male holotype is deposited in the collection of the Natural History Museum, London, UK.

A new species of the genus Cyana Walker, 1854, Cyana halmahera sp. n. is described from the island of Halmahera, the Maluku Islands. The new species belongs to the subgenus Cryptanaema de Vos, 2017 and is similar to Cyana fumea (Hampson, 1900) known from the islands of New Guinea and Kar Kar. The subgenus Cryptanaema is reported from the Maluku Islands for the first time. Adults and male genitalia of both species are illustrated.

The genus Dioscore Warren, 1907 is reviewed. Diagnostic characters are listed for the genus and species included, the male genitalia are described for the first time for seven species and the female genitalia for three species. Two new species are described from Papua Indonesia: Dioscore kirke Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. and Dioscore vilu Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. The genus with its ten species is endemic to New Guinea and nearby islands; its taxonomic affinities are discussed.

The recently collected material of Diatrichalus Kleine, 1926 from New Guinea and the Moluccas was studied. Four new species are described: D. buruensis sp. n., D. manokwarensis sp. n., D. mindikensis sp. n., and D. robustus sp. n. The diagnostic morphological characters are described in detail and illustrated. New records of previously described species are reported from several localities in New Guinea and D. mancus (Kleine, 1926) is for the first time reported from the Australian continent. Some Diatrichalus have similar male genitalia and are considered as closely related. Despite supposed relationships, they differ in the presence of secondary elytral longitudinal costae, which have been traditionally used for the delimitation of genera in net-winged beetles.

Two new species of Coniopterygidae, Semidalis procurvasp. nov. and Semidalis tibetanasp. nov., are described from China. Both species differ from congeners in characters of the male genitalia. Semidalis decipiens (Roepke, 1916), is recorded from China for the first time. An identification key for adult males of the Chinese species of Semidalis Enderlein, 1905 is provided.

The male genitalia of the tortricinid genus Beryllophantis Meyr. are described and figured for the first time for the type-species B. cochlias Meyr. and three other species. Six new species of Beryllophantis - alphophora, microtera, asticta, poicila, allochlora and phaioptera - are described and figured. So far the genus is known only from the mountains of New Guinea, all seven species inhabiting the montane rain- forest region.

Raggophyllum Nickle, 1967 is a monotypic genus, including Raggophylluym spinosum, and recorded in Peru and Bolivia. In this work, Raggophyllum is redescribed and assigned to the Microcentrini, based on the type species Raggophylluym spinosum. Raggophyllum rubrofemoratum sp. nov. in described from Brazil, Acre and Amazonas, and it is the first record for the genus in Brazil. The male genitalia and the stridulatory file morphology are described for the first time. A distribution map, notes on the habitat, and commentaries on their distribution among Amazonian endemism areas are included.

Cibyra pluriargenteus (Viette, 1955) is redescribed and both sexes are figured for the first time. The new monotypic genus Limyra, gen. nov., (Lepidoptera, Hepialidae) is erected to include L. silvai sp. nov. from São Paulo state, southeastern Brazil. The male genitalia are diagnostic for the genus. The male holotype is deposited in the collection of the Museu de Zoologia, São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

The Palaearctic species of the genus Trichardis Hermann, 1906 are reviewed. A new species, T. lehri sp. nov., is described. A new synonymy is established: T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) = T. afanasievae Lehr, 1964, syn. nov. The male of T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 is described for the first time. External features and the male genitalia of T. lehri sp. nov., T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) and T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 are illustrated with photographs.
