The male genitalia of the tortricinid genus Beryllophantis Meyr. are described and figured for the first time for the type-species B. cochlias Meyr. and three other species. Six new species of Beryllophantis - alphophora, microtera, asticta, poicila, allochlora and phaioptera - are described and figured. So far the genus is known only from the mountains of New Guinea, all seven species inhabiting the montane rain- forest region.

The Ulopinae leafhopper genera of the tribe Ulopini from the Indian subcontinent (Daimachus Distant and Radhades Distant) are redescribed. Four new species of Daimachus are described: D. matheranensis sp. nov. (India: Maharashtra), D. robustus sp. nov. (India: Kerala), D. sirsiensis sp. nov. (India: Karnataka) and D. sudindicus sp. nov. (India: Karnataka, Kerala). Ulopa brunnea Pruthi 1930 is treated as a junior synonym of Daimachus exemplificatus Distant 1916 based on a study of the male genitalia of both species. The latter species, together with Radhades crassus Distant and Ulopsina Dai, Viraktamath & Zhang are redescribed and a new subgenus of Ulopsina, Indoulopa subgen. nov. is described from Sub-Himalayan region with Ulopsina (Indoulopa) himalayana sp. nov. as the type species; the genus is reported for the first time from the subcontinent. Key to genera and species dealt with are also provided, all taxa are illustrated and lectotypes are designated for Daimachus exemplificatus, Ulopa brunnea and Radhades crassus.

The male genitalia of the genus Metaselena Diak. are described and illustrated for the first time, and as a result of that the genus is transferred to the Olethreutinae. Eight new species of Metaselena - lepta, rhabdota, symphylos, pemphigodes, pithana, platyptera, diakonoffi and allophlebodes - are described and illustrated. The systematic position of Metaselena, so far known only from Australia and New Guinea, is briefly discussed and the close association of the genus with Eucosmomorpha Obr. is pointed out.

The assassin bugs of the genus Ptilocerus Gray, 1831 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Holoptilinae) occurring in the Australian Region are reviewed for the first time, resulting in the description of two new species, viz., P. spangenbergi sp. nov. (Queensland and Northern Territory, Australia) and P. papuensis sp. nov. (Papua New Guinea). The latter species differs from P. fuscus Gray, 1831 (the type-species of genus Ptilocerus) in a couple of major external morphological characters, hence its tentative placement in the genus Ptilocerus is discussed. A key for the separation of the two new species is provided.

The subgenus Metaeuops Legalov (stat.n.) of Euops Schoenherr is revised. The group is restricted to New Guinea and some small neighboring islands. It contains four previously described species: E. coelestinus Pascoe, E. ruficornis Voss, E. tibialis Voss, and E. violaceus Pascoe, and 14 new species: Euops arfakensis sp. n., E. biru sp. n., E. coeruleus sp. n., E. curvipes sp. n., E. illegalovi sp. n., E. judithae sp. n., E. oops sp. n., E. paratibialis sp. n., E. piceus sp. n., E. dintelmanni sp. n., E. ratcliffei sp. n., E. swartensis sp. n., E. tenuiflagellaris sp. n. and Euops torricelliensis sp. n.. Euops ruficornis Voss, formerly a subspecies of E. femoralis Voss, is recognized as a distinct species without any close relationship to E. femoralis Voss. Lectotypes are designated for E. coelestinus Pascoe, E. ruficornis Voss, E. tibialis Voss, and E. violaceus Pascoe. All species are described, and the characters relevant for their identification, especially the male genitalia, are illustrated. A key to the species is provided. A cladistic analysis is performed that confirms the monophyly of Metaeuops. The most important apomorphy of the group is a pair of sclerites in the mid portion of the male endophallus. Two additional characters imply secondary reduction in a few species: the subtriangular mesotibia of the males and a siphon-like extension of the female spermatheca. The original description of Metaeuops by Legalov contained contradictions between the diagnostic characters proposed and the characters present in the type species. Therefore, the concept of the genus is here modified.

The monotypic Papua New Guinea genus Cheronella Miller is reexamined. The diagnostic characters of the genus are modified and its little known type species, Cheronella stuberi Miller, 1955, is redescribed. The characters of male genitalia are reported for the first time. The dorsal habitus, head, male genitalia, and other diagnostic morphological features are illustrated.

Two new species of the subfamily Coelotinae (Araneae, Amaurobiidae) are described from Thailand. Coelotes suthepicus sp. n. (% & ) was recorded from an evergreen hill forest near the summit of Doi Pui, northern Thailand. Asiacoelotes sparus sp. n. (%) was collected from a lower montane rain forest on Khao Khieo, Khao Yai National Park, central Thailand. The genus Asiacoelotes Wang, 2002 is reported from this country for the first time, where it presumably reaches its southernmost zoogeographical boundary. Additional specimens of C. thailandensis Dankittipakul & Wang, 2003 are collected from Doi Inthanon National Park; the female of this species is described here; variation in male palpal structure is illustrated. Males of Draconarius monticola Dankittipakul, Sonthichai & Wang, 2005 are collected and described from Doi Chiang Dao.

All species are redescribed, including habitus photographs and detailed illustrations of the male genitalia. Female genitalia are described for the genus for the first time. A key for identification of the species ofOrthopagusand a distribution map are given.

A new species of the genus Cyana Walker, 1854, Cyana halmahera sp. n. is described from the island of Halmahera, the Maluku Islands. The new species belongs to the subgenus Cryptanaema de Vos, 2017 and is similar to Cyana fumea (Hampson, 1900) known from the islands of New Guinea and Kar Kar. The subgenus Cryptanaema is reported from the Maluku Islands for the first time. Adults and male genitalia of both species are illustrated.

The genus Dioscore Warren, 1907 is reviewed. Diagnostic characters are listed for the genus and species included, the male genitalia are described for the first time for seven species and the female genitalia for three species. Two new species are described from Papua Indonesia: Dioscore kirke Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. and Dioscore vilu Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. The genus with its ten species is endemic to New Guinea and nearby islands; its taxonomic affinities are discussed.
