In this article, we offer a systematic description of intermedia relations across music, literature, the visual arts, and film. Beginning with some general reflections on materiality and medium in these diverse fields of art, we then offer various examples consisting of two media (e.g. music film, song, images in writing). We pursue the question if, and how, one of the two media may take priority over the other. In our conclusion, we deal with „intermedia relations in monomediality“. This section focuses on artistic representations made in one medium, but based on reflections on another medium. For instance, this is the case when a novelist writes about a picture without having this picture reprinted in the text.

Criminalistic characteristics of theft in the construction sector is a systematic description of criminally significant features of this group of crimes (theft committed by fraud, as well as theft committed by appropriation or embezzlement). Criminalistic characteristics of theft in construction sector should consist of criminally significant elements that describe this group of crimes and allow the investigator, based on it, to carry out a qualitative investigation. The investigator's knowledge of the content of the forensic characteristics of a particular type or group of crimes and its practical use allow him to minimize the risk of making incorrect decisions and committing erroneous actions in the context of a lack of information at the initial stage of the investigation. The elements of criminalistic characteristics of theft in the construction sector are: 1) information about the method of theft in construction (including information about the methods of preparation, Commission and concealment of the crime); 2) information about the characteristic typical traces (material and ideal) of theft committed or committed in construction. Knowledge of the content of these elements by the investigator at the initial stage of the investigation of theft in the construction sector will ensure the correct choice of the direction of investigation and prompt conduct of investigative actions to detect and remove evidence, minimizing their possible loss.

Social dialect variation is diversity and richness of dialect owned by an individual or group in Sasak monolingual society. Moreover, the diversity of social dialect is also often used as a medium for transferring ideology, identity, and existence by an individual or group of individual or other groups. Thus, the purpose of this study is to describe the form of vocabulary choice in social dialect variation of Sasak community to show differences in speech who is high social status (superior) and low social status (inferior) between individuals or groups and between women and men. The theory used is social dialect variation form of Janet Holmes and critical analysis Norman Fairclough. The data was collected by observing methods and interview as well as the basic techniques and derivatives, observation and documentation methods. Sources of data gathered from Sasak speakers who are communicating. Data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method which aims to make systematic description, categorization, and patterning. Data are presented formally and informally. At last, this study resulted in different forms of social dialect variation by an individual or group and by women and men who can cause physical-psychic intersection.

This book represents the most recent attempt to provide a systematic description of the skin manifestations of internal disorders. The author has coined and used throughout the volume the term "dermadrome" to designate the dermal component of a syndrome. Thus for instance the characteristic exanthem is the "dermadrome" of scarlet fever, erythema multiforme and skin nodules the "dermadromes" of rheumatic fever. The dermatologic symptoms are detailed under the heading of the various diseases. This facilitates reference within the text for those not conversant with all the intricacies of dermatologic classification. Author and publisher have done a commendable job in presenting the material in clear and readable form.

Abstract This paper aims to describe the morphosyntax and semantics of postpositions in Karijona, a Cariban language from Northwest Amazonia. The data, collected in the Karijona settlement of Puerto Nare (Colombia), were analyzed according to Basic Linguistic Theory and Cognitive Semantics. Like other Cariban languages, Karijona has a typologically unusual system of postpositions, which can cross-reference person and number, and form complex stems consisting of locative roots and locative suffixes. In terms of their semantics, the system distinguishes among spatial, relational, and ‘mental state’ postpositions. The first type encodes noun classification, orientation, and distance. While the second type has prototypical relational meanings, the third refers to cognitive and emotional states. This paper presents the first systematic description of the Karijona postpositions.

AbstractA systematic description and classification of inorganic structure types is proposed on the basis of homogeneous or heterogeneous point configurations (Bauverbände) described by invariant lattice complexes and coordination polyhedra; subscripts or matrices explain the transformation of the complexes in respect (M) to their standard setting; the value of the determinant of the transformation matrix defines the order of the complex. The Bauverbände (frameworks) may be described by three-dimensional networks or two-dimensional nets explicitely shown with structures types of the
