Three turbulence closure schemes: standard k-ε, RNG k-ε and RSM models have been studied and evaluated for stratified two-phase flows. The flow was modeled using the VOF multiphase model. Four case studies were used to evaluate the turbulence schemes. The first three consisted of a straight channel and have been modeled as two-dimensional problems. The fourth is a three-dimensional meandering channel flow. The results have been compared with available experimental data. All the cases were studied using the commercial CFD package FLUENT.
