Liquid water at 25 °C has been treated as a semi-ideal solution of relatively very volatile unbonded monomer dissolved in non-volatile hydrogen-bonded solvent. A mole fraction of less than 0.0016 has been found for unbonded water, in agreement with Stevenson's conclusion.
