The aim of the research is the development of technical diagnostics subsystem with the possibility of its further integration into the automated system of equipment health management, which will improve the efficiency of data ware, hardware and software. Synthesis of intellectual diagnostic models was produced a by using the Matlab graphical agents. At the same time, there were synthesized models of three types: fuzzy, neural-network and model built by planning the full factorial experimental method. Was proposed the concept of the three-stage procedure of the diagnosis of the thermal power station's turbine unit, instead of the creation of diagnosis mathematical models and failure models of objects, immediately begin to develop an algorithm of diagnosis using advanced intelligent technologies. The technique of creating a sub-line diagnostics status of the turbine unit, which includes three main stages: identification of diagnostic features based on expert method; the synthesis of diagnostic model of the facility technical condition; research models on the stability, sensitivity and uniqueness, was proposed. The main diagnostic features of assessing the state of turbine equipment, which, in accordance with the concept developed, allow forming a matrix of planning a full factorial experiment. The proposed techniques and concepts were subjected to experimental verification. The intellectual diagnostic model of turbine unit equipment health was proposed, synthesized and investigated. It was found that the best model is the model, built using neuro-fuzzy algorithms. The simulation was provided for neuro-fuzzy algorithms and confirmed their effectiveness and compliance with the laws of the physical functioning of the HPC. The results of this research have been used in the development of Almaty CHP-2 turbine equipment health management subsystems, allow the further development of the theoretical foundations of intellectual systems, and demonstrate the possibility of using modern concepts to solve important technical problems. Subsystem of operative diagnosis and the following software implementation in a complex of automated technological process of thermal power control system allows one to make an early diagnosis of the equipment health. This significantly reduces the maintenance costs, improves reliability and security, as well as the effectiveness of the control system. In this regard, the results of this study provide further development of the theoretical foundations of the intellectual systems and demonstrate the possibility of modern concepts usage to determinate the important technical problems.

Nowadays, the development of nuclear energy is determined by solving the set of scientific and technical problems that provides reliable, safe and sustainable work of the operated and designed NPPs. At the same time different accident conditions and likelihood (probability) of variant equipment operating failures are analyzed. Obtained operating experience of the mixing low-pressure heaters (LPH) at thermal power plants (TPP) and NPPs shows that pulsations occur in some operation regimes of LPH turbine which lead to inner element destructions of LPH and pipeline malfunctions. These circumstances negatively affect operation of equipment that locates after LPH in condensate-supply tract. Consequently, unit capacity factor and economic indicators descend since troubleshooting for LPH mechanisms require some time and material resources. This work presents the experimental facility design and description of main design features of the facility components. The stand was designed to study the processes that lead to the vibration appearance in mixing LPH in condensate-supply tract of K-1000-60/3000 turbines. The main task of scale modeling is the need to observe equivalent conditions of the thermal-hydraulic processes behavior in the model in relation to full-scale equipment. To solve this problem using ANSYS code a preliminary simulation of hydraulic processes occurring in the experimental facility was performed. This allowed to determine in advance certain design features in the design of given facility. The results of experimental studies of the developed facility should allow to develop measures for reduction or complete elimination of vibrations in mixing LPH, as well as to validate computer programs for design analysis of stationary and non-stationary thermal-hydraulic processes in the specified equipment and designed measures testing.

The livestock health management system is based on the principal concept to investigate bird health status by collecting biological traits like their sound utterance. This theme is implemented on four different species of livestock to cure them of bronchitis disease. This paper includes the audio features of both healthy and unhealthy livestock. Particularly, the secure audio-wellbeing features are incorporated into the platform to spontaneously examine and conclude using livestock voice information to recognize diseased birds. One month of long-term recognition experimental studies has been conducted where the recognition accuracy of the set of diseased birds was about 99% using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). This recognition accuracy of ANFIS in this regard is better than the performance of an artificial neural network. This is a reliable way for researchers to investigate and constitute evidence of disease curability or eradication of incurable ones.

Abstract The BR3 PWR is a small nuclear power plant (thermal power 40.9 MWth, net electrical power output 10.5 MWe), designed in the late fifties and started in 1962. It was definitely shut down in 1987. In 1989 the BR3 was selected by the European Union as pilot decommissioning project in the framework of its RTD programme on the decommissioning of nuclear installations. A pre-dismantling decontamination of the reactor primary loop was carried out and allowed to save doses to the operators. The savings are estimated to be up to about 4 to 7 man-Sv. The decommissioning project concerns mainly: • The dismantling of the highly radioactive reactor internals. Different techniques were used and compared on a first actual piece called the thermal shield: from plasma arc torch cutting to mechanical sawing, including also electric discharge machining. Based on the experience gained during this part of the project, the mechanical cutting techniques were promoted for the segmentation of both sets of internals, the desolidarisation and the segmentation of the RPV. • For the dismantling of the reactor pressure vessel, wet and dry dismantling were studied and compared. For economical and feasibility reasons, the wet dismantling was selected. Afterwards, two underwater segmentations were also studied: in-situ segmentation and a segmentation after having removed the RPV out of its cavity. • Mainly for technical reasons, the reactor pressure vessel was removed in one piece out of its cavity in order to be cut in the former refuelling pool. The disconnection of the RPV from the other parts of the plant was followed by the reinstallation of the watertightness of the pool in order to allow remote underwater segmentation. The disconnection, the watertightness reinstallation and the segmentation represented important challenges. The subtasks will be extensively described in the paper: disconnection from the pools floor, removal of the thermal insulation from the legs, decoupling from the primary loop at two levels, from its supporting structure, the reinstallation of the watertightness of the pool and testing, the removal of the RPV out of its cavity, the remote dismantling of its surrounding thermal insulation (which led to an annoying pool water turbidity) and, finally the effective RPV dismantling. • For the segmentation, two main cutting equipments were used: the milling cutter for cutting the RPV into rings and the bandsaw machine for cutting each ring into segments. The bandsaw machine was also used in order to cut the RPV upper flange into pieces vertically as well as horizontally. • The last generated pieces, the highest radioactive ones, were evacuated at the end of 2000. • Waste characterisation, minimization and management is an important part of the task in order to reduce evacuation and storage costs. • ALARA approach was applied from the early beginning of the project. • For each “key operation” cold tests were organized in order to optimize the work and to take benefit of the learning effect of such operation. Results of the operations will be presented, the lessons drawn for the technical choices, dose uptake minimization, waste reduction and the technical problems met will be highlighted. As a pioneering project, the dismantling of the BR3 Reactor Pressure Vessel has shown the technical feasibility of such an operation in a safe and economical way as well.

Chronic diseases are diseases with insidious onset, prolonged duration, and intractability and are associated with complex etiology and multiple morbidities, including hypertension, obesity, liver disease, kidney disease, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and chronic lung disease. For patients with chronic diseases, although the cause of the disease is not in the spleen and stomach, medication or further development of the disease will affect the function of the spleen and stomach disorders, leading to worsening of the disease. In this article, ultrasound is used to detect health disorders of the spleen and stomach. Patients should eat a light diet and exercise more. Elderly patients can increase abdominal massage and other health care. It should be emphasized that the prevalence of chronic diseases is not lower in people with high education or high economic income but is closely related to people’s daily living habits; secondly, we should enhance physical exercise and advocate annual physical examination. Finally, we need to develop different measures according to different regions to prevent and treat chronic diseases and give timely feedback to the interventions. New preventive and curative measures are given in time to improve public health.
