To adapt to the changing requirement of task data interface under the situation of far distance, multiple segment, multiple circle, multiple satellite and multi-station visibility for satellite misson in transfer orbit segment, the web incremental maintenance system based on materialized view was achieved through applying incremental maintenance principle, database technology, synchronization mechanism and maintenance proxy, and realizing the synchronization and consistency of data interface about the distributed experiment information surveillance software system. The result shows that web incremental maintenance system can ensure the real-time and consistency of data processing and transmission.

Nowadays, fiber optic technology has been used in sensing. Using the distributed optical fiber sensing technology in the landslide monitoring, the linear strain distribution information of the whole landslide can be obtained, and adopting the Fiber Bragg Grating sensing technology in the landslide monitoring, the key pot strain and displacement information can be gained. This paper firstly reviews the basic principle of optical fiber sensing, and then describes the optical fiber sensing real-time monitoring system by combining with FBG technology, BOTDR technology, database technology and web server technology, and finally presents a field application experiment using the real-time monitoring system in Ripley landslide in Canada. The experiment indicated that the real-time monitoring system can be realized real-time monitoring of FBG and BOTDR for landslide, and the experience can be extended to other landslide.

ABSTRACT A transition is underway in imaging technology for airborne surveillance and reconnaissance operations. Large independent sensor systems carried in dedicated airframes, are being replaced by more economical, compact, and integrated multisensor arrays with a common processor that are portable enough to fit into a variety of small aircraft. Development of such a system was stimulated by a perceived need to enhance marine oil spill response and cleanup, and to better mitigate the environmental and economic impact of such incidents. The newest of these systems incorporates an aerial platform, a suite of advanced commercial sensors, a six degrees of freedom global positioning system (GPS), advanced database technology to manage spatial data, and image analysis capabilities. The operational goal of this development is to furnish valuable reconnaissance information in real time to ground users. Such a capability could advance oil spill response and other applications where rapid acquisition, integration, and communication of complex data is essential to decision-making. The ability to conduct day, night, and adverse weather surveillance operations is restricted in current systems and is another benefit this system is designed to provide. The innovation in the system especially lies in the development of a common processor and image fusion system which integrates, georeferences, and geocorrects multisensor data and transmits it in real time. A graphic interface was designed to provide maps or other projections as a spatial reference system on which to plot data from a surveillance mission. New imaging numerical methods allow processing of composite images, multi-image mosaics, change detection, and other data manipulation, and were tested in field trials of the system.

In recent years, a large number of populations are dependent on mobile database technology and it is difficult for us to imagine our lifestyle in absence of database. Today’s portable handy mobile devices take part in emerging new technology for sharing distributed applications or/ and information between many users even on the move (from one network to another). To manage this resulting large Volume of data in a wireless environment with time constraints such as deadline making it the fertile land of research for researchers. Fast transaction processing in many industrial applications is needed efficient algorithm and protocols in the field of mobile distributed real-time database (MDRTDBS). Transaction execution in a mobile environment has various interesting research issues like low bandwidth, storage capacity, power backup, priority scheduling policy, and concurrency and commits protocols, security, check-pointing etc. At first in our paper, we address performance issues that are important to MDRTDBS and then survey the various researches that have been done so far. In fact, this paper provides ground knowledge for addressing the performance issues important for mobile distributed real-time database and somehow helping to find out the future area of research in the field of MDRTDBS.

In a typical BI infrastructure, data, extracted from operational data sources, is transformed, cleansed, and loaded into a data warehouse by a periodic ETL process, typically executed on a nightly basis, i.e., a full day’s worth of data is processed and loaded during off-hours. However, it is desirable to have fresher data for business insights at near real-time. To this end, the authors propose to leverage a data warehouse’s capability to directly import raw, unprocessed records and defer the transformation and data cleaning until needed by pending reports. At that time, the database’s own processing mechanisms can be deployed to process the data on-demand. Event-processing capabilities are seamlessly woven into our proposed architecture. Besides outlining an overall architecture, the authors also developed a roadmap for implementing a complete prototype using conventional database technology in the form of hierarchical materialized views.

PDA with RFID functionality, integrated GIS (Geographic Information System), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) wireless communication technology and Embedded Database Technology developed the substation inspection system based on B/S structure. The system quickly identify equipment identity and accurate records of the defect content of substation equipment according the RIDF. Not only real-time learned inspection personnel in place, but also solve the problem of substation equipment inspection data is not real-time upload. Using the RFID technology improved the substation inspection efficiency and ensured the safe operation of the equipment. This has good promotional value in the power inspection.

On the basis of research on the steel enterprise information system in the current domestic small and medium-scale iron and discovery of the adequate for the existing system, a idea of the combination the real-time database technology with advanced management services is put forward. By SBO platform we construct the general production framework based real-time database and design its main functional modules; at the same time, we summarize the overview of the interface method with real-time database, finally we realize the program .The program helps raise the level of corporate information production and productivity, reduce production costs significantly and improve their market competitiveness.
