In designing a future road network, public budget constraints force administrations to make choices. The objective of economic development requires that both efficiency and equity are taken into account. The present analysis operationalises these two concepts by social and economic accessibility in Balochistan. It suggests priorities which can serve as an input for the design of the future road network.

The Austrian state territory, with a total area of about 84,000 km2, is served by a road network of approximately 200,000 km, including about 35,000 km of highways, expressways, and federal and provincial roads. The balance of about 165,000 km are roads at the local community level and finally rural roads (approximately 100,000 km) outside village boundaries. In the future, new roads will be built principally to finalize development plans. The maintenance of the Austrian rural road network has been the major task of road agencies over the last 10 years and will be of significant importance in the future. In view of the growing need for economical methods for rural road reconstruction, the use of mixed-in-place cement stabilization with existing pavement materials (recycling of milled material) is considered to be an economical and resource-saving approach. Practical experience was gained with the preparatory work required (inspection of the existing pavement and suitability testing) and the different stages of construction work. The resulting increase of the load-bearing capacity has been proven by measurement. Additional measurements will be carried out in the future (Benkelman beam, falling weight deflectometer). Application conditions and especially limitations were evaluated. A simple comparison of costs shows that the economic benefit of the presented method depends highly on local conditions, such as the costs of material, transportation, and materials deposit.

The most famous potential in the District of Bonto Bahari is the Phinisi Shipbuilding industry. The phinisi ship industrial area in Bonto bahari district is currently located in Tanah Lemo Sub-District. Because of the proficiency of the Tanah Lemo community in making phinisi ship from generation to generation. Aside from being an effort to preserve culture, this miniature phinisi ship business commodity has bcome an economic potential due to increase the number of tourist visits which quite significant in recent years to Bulukumba district. The location of Lemo can be developed as the center of the Phinisi Ship Miniature industry in the District of Bonto Bahari, Bulukumba Regency. This problem seen with the condition of the coastal area and the manufacture of miniature ships that are still in the same condition, while there are other potentials that can support the development of Phinisi ship building, so that in the future this area can be more developed, development direction is needed. The results of the discussion for the future are the development of facilities and infrastructure, especially the road network as access from the Phinisi Shipbuilding site and towards Lemo-Lemo beach, development in the capture fisheries sector to help support the economy of the Tanah Lemo coastal area, development of the Phinisi Shipbuilding area, tourism development natural beach Lemo - Lemo. Promoting the potential of natural resources owned by the Tanah Lemo beach area, so that in the future the Tanah Lemo beach area can become a cultural and natural tourism area. The article discusses the design of road interchanges in terms of their layout, expansion and location in the road network. As a case study, the "Bielany Wrocławskie" interchange was analyzed on the A4 motorway and the southern inlet to Wrocław. Present state was presented (including current renovation) against the history of construction and transformations of this object. Spatial and movement conditions are shown. After analyzing these elements, the author asks about the future of the interchange. Will the most functional solution be further reconstruction or liquidation of the node in this location? The analyzes may be used in shaping the network of rapid traffic routes in other locations than analyzed in the article.

At present, China is in the period of rapid growth of industrialization. In order to develop industrial enterprise, every place is in the construction of industrial park or industrial clusters. But the present social economic activities are uncertain because of the direct impact from the external environment. So in the planning of industrial clusters of Yitang, the elastic planning concept is adopted in order to adapt to this uncertainty. Many measures are adopted, such as the road network planning, the road section, infrastructure layout and focus on the recent planning, so as to improve the ability to adapt to the uncertainty in the future, which makes the planning and design of the industrial clusters adapt to the needs of the future better.
