Tandem catalyzing the hydrodeoxygenation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural over a Ni3Fe intermetallic supported Pt single-atom site catalyst
A robust Pt1/Ni3Fe single-atom site catalyst was designed for the tandem catalysis of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural hydrodeoxygenation to DMF, where Pt atoms catalyze the CO group hydrogenation and Ni3Fe interface accounts for the C–OH bond rupture.
