O–H bond oxidation by a monomeric MnIII–OMe complex
The structurally characterized [MnIII(OMe)(dpaq)]+ complex is the first example of a stable MnIII–OMe complex that can activate substrate O–H bonds with bond dissociation free energies up to 78.5 kcal mol−1 in acetonitrile.
