The author is addressing the social inclusion, as a prerequisite forthe optimal satisfaction of human needs (from biological to social),respectively the mechanisms by which individuals and social groupsare involved in the wider community, and that are giving them therights and the opportunities to achieve integration in one or moresocial systems (democratic - legal, labor - market, social welfare system,family system and the local community system). The dimensionof social inclusion (education, employment, health, etc.) to which theauthor’s analysis will be oriented is education, because the inclusionin the education system (either as a teacher or professor, either asa student) is to partake in the ‘sociopolitical context’. So it will bedrawn the attention to the link between the education with the economic(employment) and the socio-cultural (social inclusion) space,in order to emphasize the importance of including in the all threementioned areas, with aim of reducing the risk of social exclusionand its overcoming. Therefore, the inclusive education and lifelonglearning, as mechanisms of social inclusion and reducing the risks ofsocial exclusion, are the main assumptions that this work proceeds.

The paper researches the necessity and requirements for Port Community System (PCS) implementation in Croatian seaport clusters. The authors define the Port Community and analyze the basic features of seaport clusters and Port Community Members (PCM). The most important documents in seaport operations are identified and analyzed. The role of Port Authority as the most important factor of PCS implementation in the Croatian seaports is defined. The Seaport Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems are defined and analyzed, and phases of ICT integration in Port Community are determined, along with the current status of the Croatian seaports regarding ICT integration. The potential benefits of PCS implementation in the Croatian seaports are stressed. Finally, a definite need for PCS implementation is determined, in order to achieve and maintain the Croatian seaport competitiveness in global maritime transport industry.

Abstract: Bulgarian society is multicultural and multiethnic, a fact very much linked with the historical and cultural roots of the country. The current paper outlines the main problematics linked with the concept of social cohesion in Bulgaria. Social cohesion is discussed in three main contexts: (1) cohesion for the sake of a national cause, where the unique "Chitalista" cultural and community system plays a key role; (2) reconciliation between ethnic groups, who live in peace and avoid conflicts; and (3) social stratification, difficult economic conditions, and absence of a middle class as serious burdens for building a cohesive society. The paper also discusses the role of voluntary organizations, media, and education in encouraging social cohesion in a time of democratic change. Résumé: La société bulgare est multiculturelle et multiethnique, un fait étroitement lié aux racines historiques et culturelles du pays. Cette étude trace les grandes lignes des problématiques principales reliées au concept de cohésion sociale en Bulgarie. Elle décrit la cohésion sociale dans trois contextes: (1) la cohésion comme cause nationale, où le singulier système culturel et ethnique « Chitalista » joue un rôle clé; (2) la réconciliation entre groupes ethniques, qui vivent en paix et évitent les conflits; (3) la stratification sociale, les conditions économiques difficiles et l'absence d'une classe moyenne comme sérieux obstacles à la cohésion sociale. Cet article décrit aussi le rôle des organismes bénévoles, des médias et de l'éducation à encourager la cohésion sociale dans une période de transition démocratique.

People who have a high sense of empathy are considered easier to understand each other, so that a sense of caring and tolerance appears in a community system. This article is structured with the aim of analyzing the role of group counseling in increasing students' empathy. The preparation of the article The Role of Group Counseling in Increasing Student Empathy using associative research methods, namely research that aims to determine the effect or relationship between two or more variables by analyzing qualitative data from questionnaires and interviews with respondents. Based on associative research that has been done, the results show that group counseling affects student empathy. With group counseling, students become more understanding with each other and the care between one student and another increases, in other words students are able to hone their empathy through group counseling. Group counseling with a primary focus on honing students' empathy is implied by the counselor or guidance and counseling teacher during the first meeting in class, thus establishing a connection between one student and another.

This paper researches the role of the port authorities in port governance, and the role of the port authorities in Port Community System implementation. The authors provide the theoretical frameworks of seaports, port authorities, port governance, and Port Community Systems. The literature review was carried out using the Web of Science database and additional relevant sources. The authors concluded that although different port governance models exist (regarding the type of port authority), there is no evidence as to which governance model is universally preferable, as it is specific to each seaport. In addition, the research has shown that port authorities play a very important role in the implementation of a Port Community System, increasing the sustainability of seaport operations. Its implementation enables the port authorities to evolve into real digital hubs and neutral data managers, which ultimately leads to the optimization of seaport processes and more efficient use of transport infrastructure.

AbstractWhitehouse adapts insights from evolutionary anthropology to interpret extreme self-sacrifice through the concept of identity fusion. The model neglects the role of normative systems in shaping behaviors, especially in relation to violent extremism. In peaceful groups, increasing fusion will actually decrease extremism. Groups collectively appraise threats and opportunities, actively debate action options, and rarely choose violence toward self or others.
