Based on the field and lab measuerement in harvest time, Physical and mechanical properties of fritillaria ussuriensis maxim (FUM) are researched. Geometrical properties of FUM are analyzed using mathematical statistics method, and the variation sections of main index values of two kinds of FUM are obtained. Mechanical properties of FUM outsifting in screen penetrating process are tested by means of friction experiment, the friction coefficient and angle of repose of two kinds of FUM are obtained using mathematical statistics method. Grade sieve machine is designed based on the analysis of mechanophysical properties of FUM. The main parameters are: shape of sieve pore is rectangle, screen diameter is 20mm, sieve pore dimension of upper layer is 13×20mm2, middle layer is 9×18mm2, and under layer is 7×10mm2. By testing of friction coefficient and angle of repose and movement and dynamics analysis of grade sieve, outsifting velocity is 7<<9rad/s and acceleration is 4<a<13m/s2 in screening process.

Moisture equilibrium data of passion fruit pulp powders with maltodextrin and gum arabic were obtained by two different drying methods (spray drying and freeze drying) and determined at 20, 30, 40 and 50º C. Skimmed milk was used to substitute part of these additives in the samples. One formulation using passion fruit pulp/maltodextrin/skimmed milk (PMS) was prepared, and another using passion fruit pulp/gum arabic/skimmed milk (PGS). The behavior of curves was type III, according to Brunauer's classification. GAB models were fitted to experimental equilibrium data. The parameters obtained from GAB models was affected by the presence of additives. The behavior of the sorption isotherms for different temperatures are similar, noting only a small effect of temperature. There were little differences between both drying methods and additives used in relation to equilibrium moisture content. The parameters obtained with the addition of the skimmed milk were considered satisfactory (Xm values ranged from 0,04084 to 0,06488 in dry basis), demonstrating that it is an effective and cheap alternative for regular additives. A progressive increase in the heat of sorption in relation to decreasing moisture content was observed and the heat of sorption values of different samples are all similar, comparing the relative equilibrium moisture content.

In this paper, a slip length model is proposed to analyze the enhanced flow based on the Hagen–Poiseuille equation. The model considers the multimechanisms including wall-water molecular interactions, pore dimensions, fractal roughness, and temperature. The increasing wall-water interactions result in the greater slip length and flow enhancement factor. The increased temperature enhances the kinetic energy of water molecules that leads to great surface diffusion coefficient and small work of adhesion. The wall roughness can decrease the slip length and flow enhancement factor in hydrophilic nanopores. This work studies the effects of multimechanisms on slip length and flow enhancement factor theoretically, which can accurately describe the liquid flow in nanopores.

Foam replication method is capable of producing foams with a highly porous structure with adjustable pore dimension, shape and size. In this work, this method has been used to prepare stainless steel 316L foam and sintered at 1200°C, 1250°C and 1300°C in a vacuum furnace. The microstructure and elemental analysis of the sample were examined using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X–Ray (EDX), while the mechanical properties of the samples was determined by using compression test. It was found that the average pore size was in the range of 330µm-350µm. The yield strength and elastic modulus are in the range of 58-66 GPa and 0.46-0.50GPa respectively.
