The purpose of this study is to analyze the level and the type of damage in the production process CV.Bilo Datang and the solutions of quality control are carried out. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis method using Pareto diagram analysis tools and Cause-effect diagrams. The results of the study showed that the quality control conducted by the company was less than optimal, especially in controlling for half defective products. This is due to several things such as lack of employee skills and maintenance of machinery and equipment that is less than the maximum resulting in the product being half defective. Although in the amount of damage is greater than half defective products but there are also products damaged due to pest attack on wood. The solution provided by the researcher is also appropriate to the stage of the damage that occurred. Keywords: Product Quality Control, Level of damage and Type of damage

Abstract Background: Due to no corresponding action limits for some new daily QA items , limits of the monthly or annual QA procedures have to be used for daily QA program at present. The general purpose of this paper is to discuss whether it is feasible to do so.Methods: 3 groups daily quality control process during 2017-2019 performed with Daily QA3 were analyzed using SPC. In Calculation of capability indices for output, daily QA tolerance ±3% in the TG142 was used as specification limit, while for flatness and symmetry, annual QA tolerance ±1% was used. An appropriate number of data points were analyzed , capability indices (Cp, Cpk, Cpm and Cpmk) were calculated, and customized tolerance and action limits were established for each process. Meanwhile, the locations of the UCL、CL、LCL in I-MR charts of daily QA performed by 5 therapists in turns were compared with that of daily QA performed by only one physicist during the same period . Results: Process capability indices of output were all ≥1, some were even up to 3-4. While, for symmetry, most of them failed to meet the requirements. For the same daily QA item, the calculated customized limit of different quality control processes were quite different. For the daily QA performed with only one physicist, the range of UCL and LCL was smaller or the central line was closer to the target value 0 in I-MR charts. Conclusions: It is necessary to establish customized limits for daily QA program performed with Daily QA3, because customized limits and improved operation constancy both can improve the daily quality control level.

There exists a need on the part of land developers or municipalities responsible for stormwater servicing master planning to reduce the costs associated with the initial construction of stormwater facilities as well as with their operation and maintenance. Common integral components of stormwater control systems include stormwater management ponds for water quality control. These ponds may occupy valuable urban land and, hence, it is desirable to minimize the land coverage of these facilities while simultaneously satisfying water quality control objectives. The employment of optimization techniques in the planning and design process can thus play an important role by reducing the costs associated with the implementation of such facilities. This paper presents an optimization methodology for single catchments using a single stormwater quality control pond. This methodology is then further developed for a multiple parallel catchment (each with a single pond upstream of its outlet) optimization procedure employing principles of dynamic programming. The principal constraint of the problem formulation is to meet a specified pollution control level at the outfall to a receiving water body. The optimization technique employs analytical probabilistic models for stormwater management planning and analysis which are in a mathematically closed form and thus easily integrated into an optimization framework. The costs explicitly considered are land-associated costs and construction costs. Operation and maintenance costs can be incorporated into the framework if desired.

Long-Term Quality Control of the Cytokine & Growth Factors and Cell Adhesion Molecule Arrays at the Randox Evidence InvestigatorMulti component assays are a promising development in laboratory medicine. Reproducibility and standardization of the used technology is crucial for the quality of the results. In our laboratory several studies were carried out in a period of more than two years using the Randox Evidence Investigator. We applied the Cytokine & Growth Factors and Cell Adhesion Molecule Array from which reference values could be obtained. Cytokines are not useful in low grade inflammation or in normal persons as the levels are too low to detect. However growth factors and cell adhesion molecules could be determined in those studies. Outcomes with the arrays were compared with conventional assays such as ELISA. The correlations of IL-6 and IL-10 were very good and that of s-ICAM acceptable. Inter-assay coefficients of variation could be calculated by using the same control level material during those years. The system turned out to be easy to handle and very stable over a long period of time with CV's of about 8-12%. The results obtained are not dependent of the lot number of the arrays or apparatus as two different apparatus gave same outcomes.

Commercial grade items dedication provides an in-depth analysis of key characteristics of commercial grade items. Technical acceptance of commercial grade items dedication is targeted. Commercial grade items dedication can improve the quality control level of nuclear power plant equipment and effectively compensate for the deficiencies in the process control and quality uncertainties. This article sorts out the differences between ISO9001 and HAF003 and RCC-E requirements, and analyzes the document system, work process, key characteristics, acceptance methods and evaluation process of the commercial grade items dedication of the emergency diesel generator set liquid level transmitter.

The aim of the study was to construct a correlation between a permeation test method that simulates the migration of organic vapors and the actual migration of chemical contaminants from barrier-coated paperboard packaging. A correlation of this nature would enable manufacturers of barrier-coated paperboard to estimate the barrier properties of paperboard on a quality control level. A direct correlation was not plausible because the migration mechanisms that apply to the permeation test method and the actual migration differ. However, an indirect correlation was established. The permeation test method gave an indication of film integrity, whereas the actual migration was found to be rather dependent on coating weight. The spiking method, testing temperature, and vapor pressure of the contaminants were found to be variables directly affecting the validity of the correlation between permeation and migration methods.

Plants have evolved the ability to derive the benzenoid moiety of the respiratory cofactor and antioxidant, ubiquinone (coenzyme Q), either from the β-oxidative metabolism of p-coumarate or from the peroxidative cleavage of kaempferol. Here, isotopic feeding assays, gene co-expression analysis and reverse genetics identified Arabidopsis 4-COUMARATE-COA LIGASE 8 (4-CL8; At5g38120) as a contributor to the β-oxidation of p-coumarate for ubiquinone biosynthesis. The enzyme is part of the same clade (V) of acyl-activating enzymes than At4g19010, a p-coumarate CoA ligase known to play a central role in the conversion of p-coumarate into 4-hydroxybenzoate. A 4-cl8 T-DNA knockout displayed a 20% decrease in ubiquinone content compared with wild-type plants, while 4-CL8 overexpression boosted ubiquinone content up to 150% of the control level. Similarly, the isotopic enrichment of ubiquinone's ring was decreased by 28% in the 4-cl8 knockout as compared with wild-type controls when Phe-[Ring-13C6] was fed to the plants. This metabolic blockage could be bypassed via the exogenous supply of 4-hydroxybenzoate, the product of p-coumarate β-oxidation. Arabidopsis 4-CL8 displays a canonical peroxisomal targeting sequence type 1, and confocal microscopy experiments using fused fluorescent reporters demonstrated that this enzyme is imported into peroxisomes. Time course feeding assays using Phe-[Ring-13C6] in a series of Arabidopsis single and double knockouts blocked in the β-oxidative metabolism of p-coumarate (4-cl8; at4g19010; at4g19010 × 4-cl8), flavonol biosynthesis (flavanone-3-hydroxylase), or both (at4g19010 × flavanone-3-hydroxylase) indicated that continuous high light treatments (500 µE m−2 s−1; 24 h) markedly stimulated the de novo biosynthesis of ubiquinone independently of kaempferol catabolism.
