Human adipose-derived stem cells (hASCs) are an attractive cell source for therapeutic applicability in diverse fields for the repair and regeneration of damaged or malfunctioning tissues and organs. There is a growing number of cell therapies using stem cells due to their characteristics of modulation of immune system and reduction of acute rejection. So a challenge in stem cells therapy is the delivery of cells to the organ of interest, a specific site. The aim of this paper was to investigate the effects of a supramolecular assembly composed of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT), molecular magnets (lawsone-Co-phenanthroline), and a synthetic peptide (FWYANHYWFHNAFWYANHYWFHNA) in the hASCs cultures. The hASCs were isolated, characterized, expanded, and cultured with the SWCNT supramolecular assembly (SWCNT-MA). The assembly developed did not impair the cell characteristics, viability, or proliferation. During growth, the cells were strongly attached to the assembly and they could be dragged by an applied magnetic field of less than 0.3 T. These assemblies were narrower than their related allotropic forms, that is, multiwalled carbon nanotubes, and they could therefore be used to guide cells through thin blood capillaries within the human body. This strategy seems to be useful as noninvasive and nontoxic stem cells delivery/guidance and tracking during cell therapy.

The purpose of this work is to expand the class of electrical energy storage devices with non-conjugate functional hybridity. Cyclodextrins of β- and γ-modifications has used as a starting material for research. These materials containing intramolecular voids, which are able to accommodate guest components by molecular recognition on the "lock-key" principle. Methods of precision porometry and impedance spectroscopy has used to study the obtained carbon structures, electrochemical and magnetic measurements has performed to study the obtained carbon structures. Data of the precision porometry has indicated a bimodal porous structure of the synthesized chars. The total specific surface area of active surface of the β-cyclodextrin carbonizate was about 72 m2/g. After KOH-modification, the specific capacity for β-cyclodextrin char was 158 F/g, and in the negative potential range – 203 F/g. The last value for γ-cyclodextrin carbon was 162 F/g. The ability of β-cyclodextrin to molecular recognition of ferrocene (FC) has used and this cavitat has subjected to activation carbonation according to the same modes as β-cyclodextrin. The specific capacity of the obtained char of the β-CD complex after the KOH-modification was 110 F/g, the specific capacity of the cavitate carbon synthesized on γ-CD has dropped twice. The study of complexes host-guest inclusions β-cyclodextrin with molecular iodine has indicated a slight increase of capacity. However, their interface with 30 % aqueous electrolyte solution has shown high photosensitivity. The specific capacitance of the cavitate carbon without KOH-modification has increased four times when it was illuminated with integral and monochromatic light from LEDs of the same intensity. Magnetic studies of the synthesized carbonates have shown that they all demonstrate ferromagnetic properties. Measurement under normal conditions and in a constant magnetic field of cells of symmetric configuration on carbon-based electrodes synthesized with γ-CD and γ-CD has showed that their capacitance practically does not change, but their reactance parameters change significantly. Supercapacitors based on these carbonates can serve as sensors of a weak magnetic field at room temperature. Magnetovarionistors is a new class of devices, which are forming on such kind of supercapacitors.

A new H-bonded supramolecular assembly of the diamine-diol family has been obtained from (1R,2R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane (DAC) and (S)-1-phenyl-1,2-ethanediol (PED). The structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis and showed the typical architecture of DAC based assemblies, consisting of a three-stranded helicate coiling around a H-bonded core, with a predictable helicity sense determined by the configuration of DAC. The new assembly, while reconfirming the unique role of DAC as a powerful assembler of supramolecular structures, demonstrated that the C2 symmetry of diol partners employed so far is not essential for assembling helicates, although chirality is. In the case of the adduct between (1R,2R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane and (2R,3R)-2,3-butanediol, molecular recognition and self-assembly have been shown to take place even in the absence of solvent, in the gas phase, where long crystals were formed by spontaneous organized aggregation of diamine-diol units. A thorough analysis of the results from the present and previous investigations has lead to a deeper understanding of the key features of the diamine-diol molecular code and of the requirements for recognition and assembly.Key words: supramolecular, hydrogen bonding, molecular recognition, self-assembly, diamines, diols.
