Targeted FA–CuS NPs can significantly improve the tumor uptake; the integration of 64Cu into NPs with strong near-infrared absorption makes them suitable for PET imaging, and image-guided photothermal therapy; targeted FA–CuS NPs mediate a substantially greater therapeutic effect compared with photothermal therapy with non-targeted CuS NPs.
