In this paper, we report the nonlinear magnetoelectric response in a homogenous magnetostrictive/piezoelectric laminate material. The proposed magnetoelectric stack Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9/piezofiber is made up of high-permeability magnetostrictive Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 foils and a piezoelectric Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 fiber composite. The time dependence of magnetoelectric interactions in the Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9/piezofiber structure driven by pulsed magnetic field was investigated in detail. The experimental results show that the magnetoelectric effect is strongly dependent on the external bias magnetic and pulsed magnetic field parameters. To detect the amplitude of a pulsed magnetic field, the output sensitivity reaches 17 mV/Oe, which is excited by a 100 μs width field. In addition, to measure the pulsed width, the output sensitivity reaches 5.4 mV/μs in the range of 0–300 μs. The results show that the proposed Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9/piezofiber sensor is ideally suited for pulsed magnetic field measurement.

Objectives: This study aimed to compare the optical properties of Zolid FX, Katana UTML, and lithium disilicate laminate veneers. Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro experimental study, the maxillary left lateral incisor of a phantom received a laminate veneer preparation. An impression was made, and a die was fabricated using dental stone. The die was scanned using a computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing scanner. Ten dies were fabricated from each of the A1, A2, and A3 shades of composite resin. Laminate veneers were fabricated using A1 shade of Katana UTML, Zolid FX, and IPS e.max CAD ceramics (n=10) and placed on composite abutments using bleach and white colors of trial insertion paste (TIP). The optical properties were measured at the incisal, middle, and cervical thirds using a spectrophotometer. Data were analyzed using three-way analysis of variance and Tukey’s test. Results: The effect of laminate material on the L*, a*, and b* parameters was significant in all areas (P<0.001), except for the L* parameter in the middle and cervical thirds. All color parameters were affected by TIP color in all three regions in most samples (P<0.05). The effect of composite abutment shade was also significant in most cases (P<0.05). The effect of laminate material, abutment shade, and TIP color on the b* parameter was significant (P<0.001). The L* parameter was almost the same in the two zirconia and lithium disilicate ceramic groups. Conclusion: The composite abutment shade, TIP color, and laminate material should be carefully selected to achieve optimal aesthetics in laminate veneers.

This paper has introduced the concept of UWB antenna in array arrangements. The four elements of Balance Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna (BAVA) has been used for planar and H-plane array configuration in this research. Each single element of BAVA Antenna is printed on the glass-reinforced epoxy laminate material (FR4) along an overall thickness of 1.57mm and εr=4.3 respectively. The optimized measurement of each particular element is 60.75mm x 66mm approximatel. Further the parametric evaluation of four BAVA elements in different planes has been observed in this paper. The placement of array elements has almost coverd entire UWB frequency range and appropriate reflection coefficient which is better than -10dB has been established in both combinations. According to simulation results, the array elements in planar arrangement presenting a suitable reflection and works well at 3.2GHz frequency while the arrangement in H-plane the array elements works well at 7GHz of frequency. In planar arrangement, the operating frequency of antenna elements is shifting as results of the distance among inter elements which increase in wavelength. In H-plane arrangement an antenna elements generate additional gain up to 10.2 dB with good radiation patterns as compared to the planar plane. The CSTMWS simulation software has been used for antenna structural design and parametric verification.
