Sensitivity enhanced proton-detected 14N/14N correlation method mediated through accelerated 1H–1H spin diffusion at fast magic angle spinning (MAS) solid-state NMR is demonstrated to distinguish inter-beta-sheet interactions in naturally abundant parallel and anti-parallel alanine tripeptides.

To be able to study mass-limited samples and small single crystals, a triple resonance micro-magic angle spinning (μMAS) probehead for the application of high-resolution solid-state NMR of nanoliter samples was developed.
